Agreed; let us know how it sounds. I crossed PSA off my list a bit earlier on in the research process, but NOT because they're bad subs. My tastes just more closely aligned with the reviews of SVS and Rythmik. Ultimately, the Rythmiks made the most sense for my wants. Ultimately, it's YOUR system, so you need what makes sense for YOUR wants.

Thanks for all the input guys! I was looking at the PSA site again (for the millionth time) and they had a XV15-se-b for $849. It said sold out, but I didn't give any details. I assumed it meant it was b-stock. So I inquired about the sub in the live chat window. Tom says "sorry that one sold a few days ago. If you want I can sell you a brand new now for that price. $849 shipped". I said "awesome! Take my money." Very cool service from these guys. tom did the same thing for me he had 2 b stockers and but sold one so gave me a new one for the same price.. 2 xs15se.. your going to love the new sub! cheers

I may seem partial, but having had a whole host of subs from the JL's to the velo's and on, in my home to demo (price wasn't a huge consideration, I would have paid for two f113's if I though they were THE one), I am absolutely sold on the the SVS. I have twin sb13ultras and I have to say, if you can find a nice used one do... Or better yet, get 2, made all the difference in the world!

HUGE hit. This sub hits with violence. It is easily the single best upgrade I have made in a very long time. This is with No room correction yet. I'm sure there are other great subs, but for the price, couldn't imagine doing better. Remember, they gave me the b-stock price for a brand new one. Like the others that recommended this one to me, I would totally recommend it to anyone else.

Which Rythmik model is best for 2-channel music? DM If money were no object I'd go with a pair of F-15s. Being a music guy much more than a movie guy, those would do me, even in the huge room I'm currently moving gear out of. If money were really no object, I'd get 'em from Jim Salk in Claro Walnut. Seaton Sound SubMersive all the way. Even Tom from power sound knows how good they are. from the following link: www.avsforum.com/forum/113-subwoofers-bass-transducers/1480773-seaton-submersive-hp-benchmark-sub-16.htmlQuote:Quote: Originally Posted by GrandPixel View Post Thanks I've been to these pages. I've read several opinions that state they don't have the transient response I'm looking for. That's the first I have heard of that. I would spend some time looking through the various "GTG" (get together) threads here. I don't think I've seen a single one where the Submersive didn't score first for overall sound quality? And most of the demo material is usually music.
No one subwoofer is going to be the perfect fit for every room environment and set of personal preferences of course.
Tom V. Power Sound AudioOriginally Posted by mnc View Post I'm wondering how the new PSA S3000i will compare? They look very similar. Similar but I would expect the Submersive to still have the edge in extension and output. It really it a benchmark.
