I have created 3 threads about CD's in the past week or so that have gotten 150 or so hits with only 1 comment. I certainly don't expect people to like all the same music that I do, if you don't agree, just say so. I try to post about new and/or unusual bands that might have some interest by some but no one ever comments...... If I posted about a new tube preamp or some fancy new cord you guys would pontificate to a fair thee well about it? Isn't about the music in the end? :-)

I don't comment because the music you post is not what I care for. There is a lot of negative criticism on the forum so I just don't comment.

I can only speak for myself. I come here to read about and discuss audio equipment. I go to many other sites to learn about and listen to Music.

Let's see I have posted CDs about blues, jazz, rock, acoustic guitar, prog rock, metal and new age. I'm curious, what kind of music to you like Mr Hump?

I've subscribed to the view that not much worth listening to has been recorded since about 1972, remakes of old jazz standards excepted!!

I'm pretty varied as far as music, but mostly classic rock. Your music is more of a hard rock, from what I have listened to on your posts. Post more pics of your car and I will comment and like them all day !!! LOL

I liked classic rock back when I was younger, but I try to stay up with today as well. Lots of good music being made, you just need to look for it.

I listen to music all the time; it's just that I hardly ever listen to CDs.

I put Joan Osborn on the to buy list. I thought I would like Ragsdale and his violin but didn't . I liked " Forever in a Daze " .."The Storm " not so much ..your threads make me question what I like and why I like them. With the last 3 I'm going to give you a .500 batting average. Joan was a strong opposite field single. Ragsdale was a strikeout. Flying Colors was a sacrifice bunt moving the runner to second. IMO
I also don't like to be critical of someone else's listening preferences. But truth be told I have found artists unknown to me prior that I enjoy. Including other peoples posts ( Thanks hemster.... Gary Moore was a great find )

I wish I would stay up with more current music, but I am finding myself being more narrow minded. Definitely one of my faults.

Listening/watching right now to the Doobie Brothers at Wolftrap. Very good BD. Listened last night to some two channel DSD of David Elias. Very good quality. I'm thinking some Joe Bonamassa a bit later depending on my mood. Just don't discuss music a whole lot I guess.

I love music. Still buy CDs. I stay mostly in the rock genres but will listen to anything and judge if I like it or not. There is a lot of "crap" (IMHO) being made today, but there is awesome stuff also.

I listen to music several hours every day. But I don't get into discussing the intricacies of a release. I do often post to the Currently Playing thread however.

I listen to music every day almost all day. I just pulled out a stack of my Christmas albums and CD's. will be playing them on and off for the rest of the month. I enjoy the older musical ones 60's & 70's with orchestra and choir

I'm not trying to create feelings, but it seems like a lot of the subject matter here is repetitive. There is an ongoing thread about "what are you currently listening to", one on "what are you currently watching", there was another thread about "are you listening to music or just collecting gear", not to mention the " I need some suggestions on this type or that type of music" and the list goes on and on.
I can't speak for everyone else but I visit the forum several times a day. I read some of the new threads, and look at new post on subject matter of interest to me. I don't choose to comment on every or even most post that I read. I find a lot of the questions have been asked many, many times before. Then there's even some equipment post that I have no interest in reading about, because I have no interest in that particular equipment.
Don't take it personal when forum members don't choose to comment on a thread we tend to be more self centered when it comes to this hobby.
Now to address the subject matter at hand. Yes I do actually listen to music. I went over to "snackers" place yesterday afternoon and we listened to his Klipsch La Scala's, we listened to some Blues by Albert King, and Miles Davis's Kind of Blue. I was actually listening to my own system when he text me about stopping buy. I was listening to a copulation which included George Duke, Azymouth, Dianne Reeves, Sopwith Camel, and Cassandra Wilson to name a few. I do sample some music mentioned here like "Cheek to Cheek" However, I must admit I didn't notice your 3 threads about CD's this past week sorry. Some things just get looked over.

I admit it's a bit out of the mainstream but it has a few great songs on it. I think Flying Colors is awesome. What a supergroup. Between all of them they have prob sold 100 million albums and you have the juxtaposition of Steve Morse who is 60 years old and Casey McPhearson who is just a kid (more or less) in one band.... Cool..
