Boo, I was hoping that would fix your issue. It may be trivial but is there a "Disable Digital Display" hotkey or option? I realize toggling the enable hotkey may do the same thing but you never know.

I've had a similar problem with my Mac Mini timing out, cant get my PC to even show a picture from the XMC-1 , my video card has twin HDMI out and only one works with it, my Sharp monitor. Any help is apriciated. Sorry for the thread jump but it is on topic. 8) |

geebo yes...and if I run my DC-1 analog in the the XMC, I would clearly try direct mode vs. Reference stereo to see how they compare. Reference would be the dc-1 in all its glory but without sub, whereas direct would have the sub but for from analog in back to digital and back to analog. Worth comparing...will work that in after I get DIRAC going. I just ordered full Dirac yesterday but have to wait for the key (and am heading to E-town, KY with my daughter tonight for a weekend of soccer!) Mark The soccer facility and sports park here in Elizabethtown are really nice! All summer and fall the hotels and motels are packed with tourney teams. |

I'll look around more on my PC before I spend that. What I am thinking is that once I start my PC for a listening session, if before I leave it I put the PC to sleep,then when I go back to the PC, I will select the input on the XMC, and once it is there - push the magic button on my keyboard and be running fine. I use the keyboard to control the PC anyway, so now that I know the trick I can use it.

Thanks George! I set it to 100% volume in the settings, and there were a couple boxes about letting other softwares control the mic and I checked those. I have no idea if it was right, but it sounds good and the choices seemed logical.

But the bottom line is turn off AGC with the Emo setup and don't bother looking for it with the Umik. |
