Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place. I saw the piece on Audiostream about the Big Ego & Little Ego DAC/Headphone amps. Thanks for bringing reasonably priced hi-res products to a market which is crowded with expensive gear.
I hope one of your next products will be a portable hi-res media player or DAP. While I want to be able to play my tunes on the run, I really want to be able to take large portions of my music library in the car. So the ability to add lots of storage is important to me. Thanks again.

I wonder if the egos will be for sale anytime soon.... Especially before the sale ends.... Maybe that will be an excuse to extend the summer sale?

I see the little Ego description has this:
Separate headphone, line level, and digital outputs – Separate headphone and line level analog outputs let you keep your Little Ego connected to your stereo and your headphones at the same time. You can use the Toslink digital output to connect the Little Ego to a digital input on your stereo or another DAC, and you can switch between the analog and digital outputs at the push of a button
However the pictures do not show a Digital or optical (tousling) output. Are these additional outputs only on the Big Ego? Otherwise what are the differences between them?

The Big has those other ins and outs. They just have to correct the description for the Little.

Description fixed The Little Ego has a single output - which is the headphone output. The Big Ego has a headphone output, a separate analog line output, and a Toslink digital output. Note that you CAN connect the headphone output on the Little Ego to your stereo if you like. While the line output on the Big Ego is a tiny bit better, the headphone outputs on both are really good enough to use as a line output. (The big thing with the separate output is that you can leave the stereo connected while you use the headphones and vice versa.) The Big Ego and Little Ego actually do use different DAC chips - and the one in the Big Ego is slightly better. (They use the same headphone amp, which is why those specs are identical). The DAC we used in the Big Ego is actually a few dB quieter (and that shows up in the specs for its line output). However, I honestly doubt you'd hear the difference. I am really interested in picking one of these up, are you able to give the models of the actual DAC chips being used in each? Thanks!

Little Ego was delivered today. Set it up and listened to a couple of songs. Works great.
