Took a great road trip today out in the country. We drove to Ft. Hood, which is not out in the country. I left there 49 years ago after my tour in Viet Nam. Killeen has grown quite a bit in almost 50 years.

We are moving. It's a great thing that we have been needing to do for quite a while. For awhile, we thought we'd move to a smaller house somewhere in the same area we live now but that never happened. I am so glad!! We are moving to a small town with big city stuff in the middle of Texas. A great retirement community. We didn't push it before. We waited even though we didn't want to. I am so glad!!
My wife is so excited so I am so excited because she is so excited. I am giving up our media room and will only have a 2 channel setup for TV, music and movies but I am fine with that. We hardly ever use what we have now.
Lots of equipment will be on the sales market soon!

The last draft call was on December 7, 1972, and the authority to induct expired on June 30, 1973. The date of the last drawing for the lottery was on March 12, 1975. Registration with the Selective Service System was suspended on April 1, 1975, and registrant processing was suspended on January 27, 1976

Re Keith L.'s post,"Balanced XLR Pinouts for all Emotiva Products". Since the XLR inputs on my XPA-2 (gen 1) are not truly balanced, I may assume this issue is, in my case, moot? Thanks for your'input'!

This question and post is meant with all due respect. Why do people say "rest in peace" ____________ when someone dies? I mean, I know what it means and why it is said but it really is crazy to say it to the person who just died. Just seems like there are so many other things that could be said that are much more meaningful.
I repeat, this is meant to be respectful and I know why it is said but I don't understand. It's too late for that comment after someone is already dead.

The phrase is engraved in tombstones. The origin of this phrase are found in Hebrew in the old testament of the Holy Bible, "Those who walk uprightly enter peace; they find rest as they lie in death."

This was in another post but I decided to post it here too because I am very frustrated!! Nick have me a link to order a Phoenix trip wire connector for an RPA-2 amp but the connector is way too big for the female on the amp. Ordered a phoenix connector but it's way too big for the RPA-2 female. Back to square 1.... It baffles me that no one, including Emotiva, has a spare trip wire / connector and so far no parts company has the correct male end. Crazy!!

..... can you say Serbian trigger temper? Maybe they should give him two Valiums before he ever picks up another tennis racket or limit him to ping-pong! (Get your hand off my back.) (Later he said he was so sorry.) The No. 1-ranked men's tennis star, Novak Djokovic, was forced to default at the U.S. Open on Sunday after hitting a line judge with a ball, in a fit of anger.

Yes it is a trigger wire but the female on the RPA-2 is not the standard 3.5mm or whatever size they are. It's a very small 2 prong female phoenix type connector and no one seems to have the male end. If could build one if I could find the small male.

I don't use them. I thought I had some of the Phoenix connectors but couldn't find any. I know you can buy the Phoenix connector at Parts Express. If you'd like the trigger just send your addy in a PM to me and I'll mail it out.
