My old life is gone. As of 03/14/2021, this is the beginning of the rest of my life. More coming soon. I remember a moment of reflection years ago when I reached past the point of no return. That is, I reached the age when now there's less in front of me than behind. I could either dwell on the past or look towards a limited future. In some ways I was taken by sadness realizing so much life, experience, and time was only in my own unique memory. Amazing how I exhibit a tendency to only remember the mistakes. In another way I experienced blissfulness. Because my days are numbered here I actually look forward to the next transition leaving the world behind. In some ways life is like a stream in motion moving in a direction into an open ocean. The moments of reflection are like stepping out of the stream and looking into the moving water only to then step back into the stream realizing this isn't the same stream anymore. The stream that once was already moved on and is now that much closer to the great expanse. My point being, don't waste too much time by reflecting upon the past. Move on... to know in faith. The real kicker is knowing that what once was is now in front .... will I make the same mistakes after moments of reflection? I hope not..... the fool repeating his same mistakes.

About as un audio video as you can get, but comes from the heart. My journey to my salvation. February was a month of change. Drastic change, from heart attacks and hyper tension to job stress. It had to change. Now! So spiritual and physical changes are happening now. Some will get it, some won't. That is okay. Peace is found in many forms. I hope you find peace in your way.

When I can get too comfortable and say nah, I will exercise tomorrow, I am reminded of "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which have from God and that you were not your own. (1Corinthians 6:19)."
So not only exercised. But killed my all time record on a high intensity VR workout, sort of against my Doctor's orders, but... well you know, I did it anyway. Felt awesome! Healthy Body and Mind and Spirit are all linked.

Something I work hard for. Sunny day, go for a walk. Did my Cardiovascular routine. Water and Gatorade for electrolyte balance. One med, and vitamin D3. Result ongoing but best so far in some time.

With computing power getting more and more powerful and storage becoming incredible and cheap. Go back to the 1990s and before you really had a DAW to create your music with. You most likely saw either DTRS, Tascam/Sony Format, or ADAT Alesis/Studer/Fostex/Panasonic Digital multitrack tape formats rock it in studios and production house. Chaining together these beast of burden with up to 128 tracks or your audio prior to down mix to 2 channel Stereo, these were the bomb. Oh yeah, better have lots of space for the 128 tracks you want to have. That 1 machine with 8 tracks, and....you know, you do the math.

Doctor says all is going well and to keep up the good work. Maintaining my exercise program, and engaging diet solution, it keeps it fun, while keeping me healthy. Most systems people employ fail because it fails to engage and is well, dull! Mix things up, keep the variety flowing, as variety is the spice of life.

There is very much Schiit about how much you need to mod your 4x4 for your journey. Well mod this! This is a 1941 Jeep totally stock, and an average Joe driving it. It gets over the golden crack. I admire this because of the lesson of not what you have, but how you use what you have that makes a big difference. Audio/Video and life is full of this Schiit too! Wake up! Your stuff doesn't suck as much as you might think, as much as most people would think this 1941 Jeep would not be as much fun as a Rubicon and T-Rex, or Raptor and so on. Bull Schiit! This guy is having the time of his life, and everyone around is too! Now that is what I am talking about!! Whiners, just get a life and do something! P.S. Link may act stupid so copy and paste to another browser if need be. Absolutely worth seeing. www.facebook.com/supercarblondie/videos/311491283393587

I just listened to the latest and greatest Podcast. Sell, Sell, Sell and not a peep about support issues or mention of anything to do with “the three hardware accessory bays for future expansion” or the “expansion options and modules”. Where are they at? How long has this promise been on the table? What did we pay for?
Im not just griping for the sake of griping! I’m not seeing the company I was once thrilled to talk about and help sell the products. Things are different now. Lots of new and old updated and different products for sale but none which were promised. Firmwear that’s still not up to snuff and often needs repair. (Resetting the unit and such) Most stable Firmware Version I have is 2.1/2 20/10/01 and it still has pops and ticks when changing most anything.
I haven’t had time lately to help out with anything but I understand that the firmware is still an issue and with that being the case anything added to an expansion slot would most likely bring the house down. No telling what a mess it could add. Good luck and God help us that purchased a processor.

Smartphones and standalone cameras especially mirrorless. Computational photography smarten up the camera and allow more powerful flexibility in control and output, and give standalone cameras of any level additional relevance and strength in an industry of declining camera sales. Olympus especially has a golden opportunity. But anyone can leverage this technology of computational photography. Doing it the old way may be a challenge Olympus can not afford. MFT is limited by dynamic range and resolution and other factors. The prospect of Stacked CMOS and computational photography in a standalone camera body is the way to go. Smartphones are leading the way. While the talents of APS-C and Full Frame are not denied. There is still a grand divide on collaboration of systems. I would like to see Olympus pair up with a smartphone company and reduce their overhead in computational photography in their bodies or tie in with tablets and or smartphones with more powerful realized processing and implementation. Sony is the one close right now, but your size is big and cost high. Olympus needs to burst this singular price bubble of Sony, and get this going. Connect with Oppo, or Haweii or someone that can push the Olympus systems to a much higher level, and allow them to fully leverage MFT to its most logical evolution. Otherwise like Panasonic who has MFT, also has Full Frame and they are doing well. The S5 is starting to crowd the older GH5, while lacking some video tools and some engineering compromises, it is a compelling solution. Panasonic could leverage also computational photography in their systems too. Phase detect may even be controlled with a smart device connected to the camera to eliminate the DFD system that hobbles Panasonic to this day. Apple pro res, and RAW processing handled out of camera,so on, so having Apple and or Samsung along with this help would rock the camera world on its head!

Development, compliances, and all. Just make Amplifiers, and Preamplifiers and DACs and speakers and Subwoofers and let everyone else throw millions and millions of dollars at this moving hard to make target. It never ends, and ultimately you are always behind. The Japanese own this. The rest try the best they can. Processor means computers and software we call firmware. This and compliance are what they are. Nothing more nothing less. Yet they all have their own quirks and features. And now I am going to give this a Doug score.

I am willing to put up with some quirks (although in my setup I experience none) in order to get the best sq. and.... yes...... I know.... that there are others that equal or better the sq of the emo, but at a considerably higher price. so..... I am very happy with my purchase of the rmc-1l and have no intention on changing anytime soon. the fact that emo is surviving during the pandemic speaks positively about their business process.

Most annoying automotive sound is the rattling resonance the car makes when bass is played in excess and beyond just distortion. Yes you heard it and you don't like it either. I don't need to tell you who is most likely playing this. While I am sure enjoyable for the interior occupants. It is annoying for everyone on the outside enjoying their otherwise peaceful day.

Blurt it out: Even more annoying than the rattling trunk lids and license plates is the lyrics and messages accompanying the trance like or hypnotic beats should the cabin windows be cracked more than the drooping pant wearing occupants. If I hear another song about idolatry, 22 inch rims, gold chains, gold teeth, cop killing, pimp slap'n, mo' money, gotta get rich, booty call'n, whores [gotta love it when a peoples demean our own women and daughters], etc..... No system can make those kinda messages sound "good". I realize in this day and age it's all about "freedom of expression" - I'm just say'n not all expression is desirable and some do not exhibit any ability to refrain from undesirable behavior and/or expression.

I don't need to tell you who is most likely playing this. Who? I agree the sound is extremely annoying.
