Purchase my IPad with a promised delivery of Dec 24.USPS stated that delivery would be Monday Dec 27
IPad just showed up this morning. Big shout out to Best Buy & USPS for on time delivery and keeping their promise. Delivery date was the only reason I purchased from them and they are the local Apple representative within 150 miles.
Update on the fritzing IPad, screen has comes back intermittently but I can’t afford to have it disappear permanently. It did go black for a full day and still has a blank spot running through the screen.

This question is probably a long shot, but I don't know where else to go. In September my wife and I saw Eric Church in concert. The recorded music he played just before starting his set was awesome. It was dark, a bit heavy, a bit bluesy and I really liked it. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the name of the song or the artist(s). Anyone know how I could find this song besides searching google and Youtube?

One of the coldest January's I can remember and now we are enduring blizzard conditions from a Nor'easter dumping 20+ inches of wind blown snow. Damn, I'll be starting my peppers a week from tomorrow.

I love home theater and other hobbies as much or more than the next person. I also realize as I've gotten older, or at least I have now admitted what I have known for a long time, that I have spent way too much time and $$ on "stuff"/hobbies that really aren't that important in the scheme of life. Oh they have brought me hours of satisfaction and fun, no question about that. I'm not beating that horse at all!! What I am saying is that as I have gotten much older, I realize that although these hobbies have been fun and entertaining, in the end, so what. What do I have? We see and read so much about younger people who spend way too much time on their devices and not enough time with other people, etc. But as I look back over my life, I wonder how much time did I spend/waste (depending on how you look at it) on my hobbies when I could have been interacting with family, friends, learning or doing something much more meaningful, etc. Hey, I'm not complaining. I'm just shouting out & thinking about what's on my mind today.  |
