Speaking of updates, i just installed a brand new update for my 3020, support is good from any manufacturer especially after all this time. Frankly, coming from one of the bigboys im surprised. Its not any major flaw, just continuing support.

The photo you post is of the new Technics model SE-R1 stereo power amplifier. It runs $52,500! Do you really want to listen to it? Perhaps you just borrowed the photo of the SE-R1 to show a photo of the gorgeous Technics meters? Maybe you do really just want a vintage Technics power amp with meters?

BTW, In several months I should be back In Japan for a few weeks. Perhaps I could take a listen for you to the new SE-R1. It might sound nice driving the vintage Technics SBP-9500 speakers, a small speaker with 4 woofers and three micro horns each. See photo below.

Gary Ridgeway, The Green River Killer, a serial killer who butchered 49 women over many years in Worshington State has been recently transferred to a Colorado prison so he feels more comfortable.  Isn't that sweat of the folks at the Worshington prison.   After strangling them, he would dump their bodies throughout forested and overgrown area in King County, often returning to the dead bodies to have sexual intercourse with them.  He was actually convicted for 49 murders but later confessed that there were nearly twice that many.  A typical law abiding and upstanding citizen.  Obviously the death penalty which he avoided would have been cruel and unusual .......... the most absurd phrase ever written by the US Supreme court!


U.S. Congressman Dave Reichert (WA-08) - the former King County Sheriff, bless him, had this to say: 

"I am incensed and outraged on behalf of the victim's families, the task force detectives, patrol officers, scientists, hundreds of volunteers who dedicated their lives to bring this monster to justice and all law abiding citizens. These hardworking dedicated servants spent 20 years of their lives devoted to stopping Gary Ridgway from committing more crimes and solving those he did. It is unbelievable and absolutely intolerable that the Washington State Department of Corrections determined that because Gary Ridgway, this country's most notorious serial killer who confessed to 49 murders, was such a model inmate, he was relocated to a Colorado prison at a cost of 20k for a private jet to transport him, so he can now socially interact with others and get a job. This is another example of murderers in Washington State not being treated appropriately for the heinous crimes they have been found guilty of. Ridgway should feel fortunate to spend the remainder of his life in solitary confinement."

(This has been bothering me for a long time since she's from Seattle and went to my high school.  So I might as well get it off my chest and Blurt it Out!)

I have a police background and know that sometimes the local investigating police and or prosecutors/judges can screw up an investigation big time and due to their incompetence and/or a jury of idiots a guilty party gets off the hook sooner or later. 

O. J. Simpson and Amanda Knox have two things in common.  They both acted very guilty (not admissible in court but a dead giveaway) right after the crime and they both were guilty but finally got off scot-free!
