garbulky - are you sure they are on the back burner and not one of the 20 products currently in full development? I don't recall hearing them say they moved these lower in priority, and they have been specifically non-specific in what's coming next - other than a couple things that it's clear they are doing (replacing the lower level amp series, XMC-platform variants at higher and lower cost, and by guessing - some DAC replacements given the XDA-2 closeout, etc.). Mark I think I saw somewhere in the last couple of weeks where Keith said it was still on their radar, but that they had other priorities.

I was hoping to hear from someone at Emotiva. I'm at a point where I want to buy some new tube amps. Sure would be nice if they matched my XPA-1s!
Of course an Audio Research VT 200 MKII looks good next my xpa's as well ;-p
Sorry. Couldn't wait. I'd still like to know anyhow. Maybe even a teaser of some other products??

Don't look for much in the way of a 'heads-up' for upcoming releases of new products. When it doesn't happen Emotiva gets hammered badly. And anyway whats wrong with a nice unexpected surprise once in a while?

And anyway whats wrong with a nice unexpected surprise once in a while? Nothing wrong with that at all. Seems this site is full of people who feel the need to run to Emotivas rescue. Even when a harmless tongue in cheek question is asked. This is the reason 99.9% of these battle threads start. After all. How dare someone ask Emotiva about an upcoming product!!!! .........as I shake my head and walk back out the door that let me in this odd place. Later!

With sooooo many products in development you would think that expecting one or 2 a month would not be unreasonable. I'm hanging out for the d class stealth DC-1 form factor amps that have been mentioned and the multichannel 1ru units too.

The ONLY Emotiva product I've been interested in for the past few years is a new tube amp. I'm still holding on to hope, but the whole Carver thing was such a huge letdown. Still hoping though.........

What can Emotiva bring to the party? How about wonderful sounding products that I can afford and still feed my family?

Still hoping though......... There are some nice American made tube amps out there for not bad prices. Like the Rogue audio stuff. Check it out. I think a American made tube amp for around 2k is pretty darn good. The atlas magnum is 100w 8om for 1,999.00. Needle doctors and HiFi heaven both have them and I'm sure there are more. Besides how much cheaper would/can a tube from Emo be.

I think it's fair to say that they're on the back burner - but they haven't officially been cancelled.

Simple fact it that until tubes are released we have to act like they are not coming. If you are ready to buy, just find something and buy it. Even if Emotiva comes out with glass gear it will not be less seriously less expensive than JolIda or Rogue. Until Emotiva tells us differently Glass products are not on the horizon.
