There are XPR-1, XPR-2 and XPR-5 available as b-stock factory renewed according to the email I just received. All with factory 5 year warranty. Get them while you can! Thanks... emailing them now. I think I'll do a xpa-3 and dual xpr-1 for my setup. I believe this would be better for my needs.

If they don't have 7 XPR-1's I'm not going to bother. It's full 1000 watt monoblocks or nothing.

Definitely not great deals on the factory refreshed XPR's but at least it is a chance to pick up what was thought to be extinct...

Man... halfway decent pricing on the B stock I just can't justify the expense right now. Just picked up the XPA-7 and fixing to have a contractor start on redoing my AC duct in my attic, pool getting resurfaced and chimney crown getting repaired. I've got almost 10k coming out on that alone. 6 months from now I'll be ready but they'll be looooonng gone

garbunky, Are you referring to the longevity of the XPA-1 G2's due to the internal heat? Or the XPR's available during this sale? "You know stupid as it may sound, my XPA-1 gen 2s produce tons of heat. Nd I love it. I really do. But I do wonder how long the have to last!" xpa-1

Hmmn..that is a shame. It was interesting that there were so few reviews on the XPR line.
Side note. I have a chance to buy an XPR-2 with 1 year remaining on the warranty for around $975 shipped. Good deal or not?
Unit cosmetics are a 7/10 to 8/10 based on what I can see.

I am concerned that the XPA-7 is missing from the website now also.

I already have a XPA-7 but it is sitting at Emotiva for repair. I am just surprised that it has already been discontinued.

It's not due to the quality of the XPA-7 rather they are no longer manufacturing these amps in China and will be moving production to the US with a new design. Obviously US manufacturing comes at a cost so they are offering improved architecture to offset the price increase.

Still loving my XPR-2 running my Wharfedale Opus 2-3's. Have a set of Klipsch RP-280F's I am going to test but dont expect the depth of the Wharfedales... Hoping to put the XPA-2 in the living room with either of the fronts. More to come. Loving the XPR, Moto Attachments:

What a great looking stack of Emo gear, I still think the ERC-2 looks so much better then the ERC-3!! EDIT: Once again the lack of experience and knowledge expose the root of my name, "novis" Education is a long road and takes much time, time that Wharfedale has obviously spent cutting ground and developing new and advanced work in the field of speakers and audio. Having not heard them but being familiar with the Klipsch sound, my question still stands. so much to learn,,,,,,,so little time!!!

I really wish Emotiva would put together a unit that plays SACDs also.

In my opinion, you should listen to the new RP KLIPSCH series. The " too much bright" or even harsh characteristic sound is not in the scene anymore. The work they did on the off axis, spread sound quality, compression and resonances elimination, and a balanced frequency response, worth a listen.

I still think the ERC-2 looks so much better then the ERC-3!! I just don't like that the ERC-3 is made for left handed people. It's backwards for us righties.

Actually, it depends. Drop with your left, once and control panel on the right? Up until the ERC-3, I have only seen CD players 1 of 2 ways, with the platter dead center, or with it over to the left. Even the old Sony 5 disc changer platters were centered or offset to the left. Then Emotiva comes in and does it the other way. Strange. No no, it's backwards.
