Oh heck let's just go with ten XPA-1s bi amped!! XMC won't do bi-amping otherwise I would 10 - XPR-1s bi-amping my 5 channel speakers. I think this would be overkill. 2kw to each speaker lol. hehe I wasn't being serious though I do plan to bi amp my front stereo speakers for sheer style though! You can totally biamp with the XMC-1. You just use a splitter XLR cable.

The wye adapter is one way, but if you are going to do biamping why not go all out? Pickup a MiniDSP or even an ElectroVoice or Yamaha DSP?
There is sound quality to be gained by crossing your main speakers over to your subs (assuming you have dual subs) too. This is free to do in most cases and drastically lower inter-modulation distortion which is very audible for low frequencies. I cross my 175lb main speakers at 80 Hz to my dual subs.

I'm a single sub right now but will add a second for stereo subs and yes will crossover around the same and enjoy reduced power needs for my mains. The XMC does this, I don't need anything else.

How about 64 channel Atmos, all speakers with XPA-1, all speakers triamped?
192 monoblocs.

Had an Idea to just get 5 of these lil amps to run a 5 channel setup. Would this be overkill or would you just run three for the front three mains and pickup something smaller for the rears? As long as you have the budget, the physical room, and the ventilation. These 1L's, especially in Class A, are HOT.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you speakers would look better in black cabinets.
