It stands to reason that if you go with the option of 7 of the 2 x 75 stereo modules, then their would be 14 channels. Thus 14 speakers being driven. I would think these stereo modules would be great for overhead speakers, height and surround channels but not for main or center channels, or maybe even zone 2 or 3 outdoor speakers. I highly doubt many customers will be buying this configuration though, but you never know.

Am I hearing things? A single chassis amp able to drive 14 channels? "14 channel distributed audio" Big Dans statement, does this mean 14 speakers driven? Listen at about 14:30 of the video youtu.be/USt8SgHAQ0E Says video not found. youtu.be/USt8SgHAQ0E works for me, let me look further into it

So does anyone here have an idea of how long "back orders" take to complete? And does back order actually just mean, "Hey, we're building you your own special amplifier here real soon"? ? That feels nice.

That feels nice. Per their website, each amp is now built to order, and takes 2 weeks. Makes total sense. They have chassis', and they have blades (in the future 3 types of blades). You order how you want it, and then they put it together in that configuration.

I hear Emotiva is waiting on parts to fulfill orders. I've been waiting 2 weeks already with no firm eta.
Expect to wait awhile. Things will probably get better once supply can keep you with demand.

We'll be caught up and delivering within a few days of orders in a month or two. Sorry for the delay. We've had unprecedented demand.
Production is moving very smoothly now and we're getting the material delivery timing balanced out . These delays will be a things of the past very soon.
Cheers, Big Dan

Thank you for the reply Dan I've read some of your posts and appreciate your involvement here. I am brand new to Emotiva and was super stoked for this in a week or two. I've never used a power amp and have read a lot about your products, super excited now.. do you have an estimate for the wait as of now. I ordered yesterday afternoon.. 2ch configuration

"Some people, including myself, think that Emotiva amps have plenty of power however at the cost of SNR (both measured and audible). Can you please measure the SNR ratio as I have a feeling this amp, while plenty powerful and Class H, comes at the price of noise. Thanks!" that's what he wrote - will ask where the quote comes from. He is the "build your own" type so anything else might not be good enough. However as a to-be newcomer into Class H, I wondered.

I own a gen 3 amp. I is the quietest amp I've heard outside of a Mark Levinson amp some years ago. I have no measurement to verify this but it's black.

I think generalizing SNR about a type of topology is like generalizing HP about cars. It's awfully broad.

XPA gen3 amp has 91dB snr at 1W the BASX A-300 has 100dB snr at 1W, 9dB better than the XPA gen3.
