I'd love experiences as to how they compare to Parasound's amps.

No reviews on the new generation of amplifiers is a suspicious case

I'd venture to guess you can just revisit the prior XPR vs. XPA Gen2 reviews and that will pretty much sum up the differences between Gen2 and Gen3.

Hey guys, i have my XPA-3 Gen 3 for about 4 weeks now, i never had older gen of XPA so i cant compare, but i have pair of SA-250s, SA-250 sounds crazy good, so much details, sound is clean and detailed, XPA sounds pretty close, very clean, bass is very tight and punchy, i personally love how it sounds and both SA-250 and XPA gen3 dont even get warm, they just stay totally cool, Here are some pictures i have of them www.blu-ray.com/community/gallery.php?member=gecka78&folderid=1454#162793

Those JBL's look awesome, especially in your set up? I had my eye on a similar model recently. Very nice....and impressive! Tim

thanks, i love those speakers, i use to have all setup of JBL studio L and was very happy how they sounded, but these speakers are totally another level, i never heard any sperakers before sounded like them, especially big ones 590s, sound just unbelievable, i dont know what they did with them but they are sound really really good, but JBL made them for a limited time only, they are discontinue them, JBL web already removed 590 (the bigest ones)

I personally prefer SA-250 over gen 3, but this XPA gen3 amp does sound very close, I was nervous when I was ordering, I was thinking to get another SA-250 but I needed amp for 3 channels( center and surround speakers), so I decided try this new amp and have no regret , I love the sound coming from both these amps

So here's a question to the owners of a gen3.. I purchased one yesterday and am waiting for it to be built, that is a good feeling BTW. My question is this: is anyone running it from a mid-higher end avr? Specifically Denon/Marantz. Is the output voltage sufficient? AVR-X4200w in my case.

Thank you Honestly Ive never heard anything strange and don't think I've ever heard clipping.. not even sure what that means and will have to look it up haha. Edit: I don't think so.. I play my movies pretty loud and same with my music. I believe there's plety of power beond ear bleeding levels.

Nice looking setup. May I ask what kind of rack that is? Looks like its glass shelf, is it strong enough to hold the XPA at 70lb? I need one of these to use both of my XPA amps! Thanks.
