As a general rule of thumb, unless Emotiva states otherwise, I've understood that deals like the "Upgrade For Life" and "40% discount cards", are only applicable to Emotiva's regular product pricing.

Gezzzzz,,,,,,,,having fun can be dangerous! Big grin with that smile, you missed that. I never saw an e-mail, just tried to answer your question so I did what I could, went to the sales page and reported what I found.  Technically, not bold but the red letters jumped out at me. hope today is a much better day for trying to help a guy out.  |

100% of my appliances and apple computers are refurbished as well as my UMC-200 and photo gear. Zero problems so I'm a believer in buying renewed electronics.
I do, however, have friends who would never consider a renewed/refurbished purchase.

I do, however, have friends who would never consider a renewed/refurbished purchase. I agree. Most my guitars I have had in the past were refurbs and factory renewed. To me, I don't mind saving some money on these units because most of the time they are brought back to factory standards and are like new. Small blemishes don't bother me. I think a lot of people in the AV hobby buy gear already knowing their ability to sell it in the future and any blemishes would hurt their sale. |
