Focusing on the dove hunt tomorrow...then my full attention turns to the Emofest the rest of the week. Best of luck with the Dove hunt. I can't wait for ruffed grouse myself. Upland bird hunting has always been great interest of mine. I got a chance to hunt quail in Eagle Rock, Mississippi last year. What a blast. Good luck tomorrow. I am looking forward to meeting you guys this weekend.

Is anyone from Western Washington going to Emofest? I'm looking for someone to possibly pick up a UPA-2 for me and bring it back if the sale price is pretty good. PM me if you're willing to help out. Thanks!

Even if I don't get as many as I would like it is a good opportunity to get out to nature and spend soem time with the old man.

I'm so stuck in teh 80's/90's that your joke was lost on me at first...I had to look up 98 degrees...hehe! Seriously though, the Tuscon has a tape player and a CD player. I currently have a converter tape stuck in the tape player that I can connect the 3.5mm plug to the GPS from. So if you guys have anything on tape, CD, anything with a 3.5mm output, or music on an SD card (4MB or under), feel free to bring it along.

Three guys in a compact SUV with open containers, a puke buckets and boy band music blasting. We won't have to bail them out in Tennessee. They won't make it across the state line.

Listen, I heard this from a friend, who read it in a book somewhere... Worst case scenario, we take your wife's SUV down to a crappy part of town, pull the radio, strip the column, set it on fire, and call it in as stolen. Problem solved

For all of those who are having trouble getting the group rates, I found out some information for you when I called to verify my reservation. The reason no one is getting the group rates is because of 2 reasons. The first is the cut off date for this was on the 21st to get this rate. The second is that the amount of rooms that were set aside for the group have all been booked. This is how it was setup by the sales person at the hotel. I did ask how to get everyone the group rate. The lady told me that it is possible because there are still rooms in the hotel available. Also this should still work for those who already have reservations. You need to call 615-771-8900 option 5 and talk to the sales department. They have the ability to add rooms to group and may be able to give the group rate for those who have already booked a room. Hope this helps. Just curious, what does the group rate work out to be per day?

They went ahead and booked me at the other Hyatt in Brentwood for an ok price. FYI: The Brentwood Hyatt is something like 5 miles north of the other Hyatt. Is it Friday yet? !!?!??!?!!??!?!!!

Heres a pickle, if one were to go to Emofest with a small car (no access to big vehicle) and buy some gear with no way to bring back, would Emo ship the items to you eventhough they mentioned its a take it with you sale?

I'm sure they would do this...they would just probably have to charge you the normal shipping rate.
