I have a TA-100 and not a PT-100, sorry folks. But the remote controls are identical as far as I know. I need a better system please.

How the heck do you easily change FM stations from one saved to another without scanning?

How the heck do you easily change FM stations from one saved to another without scanning? I found this in the manual Press the Right Button to see the currently selected Preset; use the Volume knob to change the setting; and use the Left Button to exit when you’re done. The setting will automatically be saved.

I have set the stations, id like to change the fm pre sets with the remote,,,,,,,,,,,am I asking too much? I thought that may be the correct instructions. The setting the preset stations was in another location in the manual. I took it that you pressed the right button and it would show the current preset station and you use the volume knob to change to another preset station and the left button to exit. Not having the PT-100 I couldn't verify I tried

Hello All,
It is interesting to read the responses about the remote and menu system. When I wrote the menu structure and worked out the remote I truly thought people would appreciate the simplicity of it. That is to say the goal was to make it very simple so that anyone could use it without having to know how to program a computer to use it like so many products today.
As it pertains to how the PT and TA operate, think of it like this. and oh by the way, we will publish a flow chart. That is a great idea.
First the system auto-saves your settings, so there is no enter button.
Up and Down is volume. Left and right are Input selects.
If you press Menu, then just scroll up and down to find what you want. Once you find it, simply go into this part by pressing the right arrow (right arrow takes you in and left takes you out).
Once you are in that sub menu, scroll up and down to make changes.
Once you have made the change to be what you want you can either use the left arrow to back and the system will auto save this selection or you can simply press Menu again to take you out completely.
That is really all there is to it.
I'm sorry if you don't like it, I really thought it would be a hit with the WAF and children, which in term would make it more appealing to everyone.

How the heck do you easily change FM stations from one saved to another without scanning? Press Menu. It will automatically come up in the tuner menu, so just press the right arrow to go in. The first option that comes up is Presets, so press the right arrow to go in. Then just use the up and down arrows to find the one you want. Once you find it, either press the left arrow to go back or press the menu button to exit. Thats all you have to do. Lonnie

But it was easy to pick up on. Almost like the XMC with a one line display.

Lonnie Funny thing, is that in my cave with the XMC-1 I actually listen to Hi Fi vs radio. I may have listened to fm for all of 30 minutes in all the time Ive owned it. But in this different purpose room I do require 📻 fm stereo. I tried the fm this morning and its not natural to me. Ill give it a few days, most likely will grow on me. I was expecting a more " sophisticated" remote control. After one week, this explains why, "Hey Siri" did not work with this remote.

First thing this morning I read lonnie post and tried it. Took a few minutes but it works. Not fm friendly IMHO. The rest of it works beautifully. Ill spend a little more time this evening with it. @hair Nick I do appreciate the flow chart/tree and also the easy printable for others in the house. One more thing if I may, how can I go through my pre sets without double/triple pressing the button? How can I/we teach a harmoney remote to do so? As Ive stated before, imusing every ability the TA-100 has and it does so much beautifully. Thanks again. Nick

Like I posted in my TA-100 review, Emotiva and my friends on their forum are first rate!! Ill now need to adjust my review as the remote was the only sticking point! I will read as an advertising piece then.
