I suggest the name of "Blueberry PI" as blue is the Emotiva emblem.
Naturally it must have blue LED

As it'll be streaming music goodness all around, it should be named "Emonescence" IMHO.

Will the Pi replace the BTM-1 ? I doubt it will. They're different products intended for different uses.

please include a professional I2S output in hdmi and RJ45 formats to connect to dacs that have this input! My home made one cannot go above DSD64... maybe if designed as a piggyback board with short signal paths and well designed tracks it would work at higher bandwith there is currently no commercial offer for such a piggyback card, and quite a demand from users of DAC with such an input RJ45 is straighforward, HDMI is LVDS so needs balancing chip as such: on this picture the raspberry pi pins are on the right, HDMI port on the left. Sorry for right to left readers ;o) the pin assignment here is what I use to connect my Pi to a PS Audio DirectStream, using an I2S HDMI output module from Audio GD wanted to have a prototype card printed myself but can't find online tools easy enough to use to do it! (since I never designed circuits...) should be easy for Emotiva!

Having built 3 different RPI music streamers, I look forward to seeing the official comment thread on this product.
PS: Really like the name Blueberry-Pi!

Hair Nick Pi is too dangerous, people will get lazy and just leave out the "Nick" . . . (should I really have gone there?)

Interesting would like to know more.
Only other company I know that did something with the Pi is Bryston...but very pricey.

How about if Emo has a contest to come up with a name for the new product and the winner gets one free?
Hair Nick Pi might raise some eyebrows, same as if you name your company Schiit.
