Didn't even think about that one! I do it often using my phone and or tablet. I like the way knobs look so I voted with my eyes.

Lol, i doubt emotiva will add a touchscreen in the near future, but probably an app will be first so you can use your phone/tablet/watch

Nope, that's even worse than buttons. Don't even go there. Some buttons should be hard, as in physical. Soft buttons are fine for variable stuff and things you don't use regularly. Volume and Channel Up/down are 2 examples of buttons that should be hard. Wow, this conversation about knobs and hard & soft buttons is starting to become kind of weird.

Knob volume control is the only lacking feature of the UMC-200 in my mind. It's still a home run in every other way.
