For the Canare WS11 cable, where do you get the speaker pants that will fit? Not bi-amped. I have these cables and love them, but would really like to dress them up.

Ok I found a way I can go through in the duct work housing and drop down. I wouldn't go through the duct work. If you are going through an interior wall, there typically isn't any insulation and you can easily fish a wire down it. You will have to drill a small hole in the top plate, but this is easy to do.

It's not in the actual duct work. It's drywalled around sort of like a square . So it will be in the actual Frame of the duct work not actuall inside the duct work

No need Mogami 2921 bi wired equals the wire gauge equivalent of 10 gauge, far more than my longest 16 foot run needs and the sound quality is superior to any other wire I have used. Mogami wire has definitely become my favorite wire because of its high quality construction and excellent sound quality. I also use Mogami 2549 and 2932 8 channel snake cable for my XLR connections using Neutrik black/gold XLR connectors (Neutrik NC3FXX-B Gold XLR-Female connector and Neutrik NC3MXX-B Gold XLR-Male connector). I make my own power cords with Belden wire (I forget the wire part number) using Marinco 8215 Hospital-Grade and Marinco 320IEC15 IEC connectors. I make my own trigger cables (with misc wire) and Neutrik 3.5mm connectors. My next cable project will be to make RCA cables using Mogami 2803 wire and probably Vampire Wire RCA connectors. mogami 2921 is just under 14awg its a quad cable set up bi wired it is just under 14awg not if and butts about it.. now if you took both end down to 2 conductors yeah be about 11 awg.. now the 3104 is just under 12awg bi wired.. cheers..

Mogami 2921 is just under 13 gauge (not 14 gauge) and it is sold as 13 gauge, doubled 13 gauge becomes 10 gauge which is what is between the amp and the speaker. Yes each frequency Hi/Low receives a pair of 13 gauge wires but it is no longer shared so it is not exactly the same but more like the equivalent of a single pair of 10 gauge. In any case no matter how you do the math Mogami 2921 is far more than is needed for my 16 foot run and I would put the sound quality of Mogami w2921 wire as one of the finest speaker wires available. If my runs were much much longer Mogami w3104 would become a worthy upgrade. I am not one who feels that bigger is better and I have absolutely no need and will not benefit in any way by going bigger and I completely love the speaker cables I have.

Again Mogami 2921 is not 14 gauge it's 13 gauge and as I said it is not exactly the same because only 13 gauge wire pairs are delivered to each internal speaker within the the speaker cabinet. However there is basically 10/11 gauge of wire between the amp and speaker if the ends of the wire were joined and not configured as bi-wired this is what the wire gauge would equal. However since they are configured as bi wired there are two pairs 13 gauge feeding each half of the speaker, I completely agree bi wiring is not the same as the total gauge of the wire and I am running four 13 gauge wires not two 10 gauge wires.
Which no matter HOW you do the math the wire gauge is FAR more than is ever needed for my 16 foot run or even several times it. Bigger is not better and won't do anything, quality on the other hand has made a difference I like.

Similarly I build my own power cables with 12 or 14 gauge wire, bigger will not be needed or provide any benefit, the wire inside the walls is only 12 gauge wire, using a huge gauge power cord will do nothing. However the better shielding of the wire I use can help prevent interference or noise to my system as the power cable comes near other cables and components of my system thus the better quality cable has the ability to improve the sound quality.

Well I got my sleeves today. I ordered 1/8 for 16 guage and of course I think it might be to small.

Thanks for the info. I still have no idea what size cable pants would fit the Canare WS11 cable. The two red conductors would be combined as well as the two black.

You guys are really going to make me try to run this 10guage? Nice cables by everyone though I really like I don't think such a huge guage is required. I'm also not a fan of techflex as it makes the cable jacket sorta snag and creates a lot of friction when it rubs against other cables. The polyester wrap is much better IMHO. Anyway regarding speaker cable, I think 90% of it is BS but I would purchase this IMHO expensive speaker cable simply due to the fact it checks all of the right boxes in terms of technical specs. www.silversonic.com/docs/products/T14.html$9 bucks a foot I asked Redco to bring in a couple spools a few years back so perhaps they can make a cable for you if they brought it in. I should also say that DH Labs D-110 makes excellent line level/mic cable www.silversonic.com/docs/products/D110.htmlAgain expensive but not ridiculously expensive.
