Looks like 1 of the 187 Emo container ships wandering the open waters has docked and offloaded their Airmotiv subs.

I have a question about the dimensions of the Airmotiv S12.
All pictures show it looking very cube like, except with some feet on the bottom. Yet the spec page says 23-1/8" high, 15-3/4" wide, and 16-7/8" deep. I think something may be off here. Even if it's a 18" cube, the 23-1/8" height would mean the feet are 5-1/8" tall. If it's a 17" cube then they are over 6" tall. That seems overly tall to me for feet, but maybe not. Either that or the pictures are amiss.
Can anyone from Emotiva answer this?
Thanks ---- Bonzo

I would have thought the adjustable crossover would go lower than 60hz.

I would have thought the adjustable crossover would go lower than 60hz. Is $799 the regular price or the sale price? Anyone know when the BasX S15 will be available? Very excited about this myself. BTW, when will the BasX S8 be available? Might be ordering several of them. But, I am also looking closely at the Airmotiv S10. Might end up with (2) of them. Use a S8 for my desktop setup. Have the JBL 305's and I think that the S8 would work well with them musically speaking. Anyways, I am new here but just so darn excited about the new subs. Thanks! Cheers, Phil

Cheers,
Phil

Is the thing on top of the BasX S8 just for looks ? Why, that'd be the solar panel! Seriously though, it's so that reflected sound can simply glide over the top. Ok, it's just aesthetics.

Is the thing on top of the BasX S8 just for looks ? I think that it looks pretty cool. Certainly different. May end up ordering several of these before it is all said and done. Cheers, Phil

Is the thing on top of the BasX S8 just for looks ? In a wind tunnel, they found that it helps it go 10 miles per hour faster.

Don't forget Gar that it has stealth also and can not be seen as much on radar as a regular sub. If you mount this sub on the hood of your car the cops may stop you but not for speeding. Well, unless your doing 100 mph.
