Planning? I didn't "plan" to upgrade to a tube amp and a new DAC and a new sub this year, yet it happened. And I don't plan any upgrades for 2017 either. Let's see how that works out.

The only addition will be a remote for my GraceDesign m920 which I have already ordered from SWEETWATER but will not take ownership until 2017.

Two upgrades are planned for the next year: upgrading the Oppo to the 203, and upgrading the XMC-1 to the new HDMI board. What he said, as well as a 4K flat panel. |

Last year I planned on getting the Oppo PM-3 headphones and that was it, nothing else. I did get those but didn't care for them so I returned them. Then I wound up getting Sennheiser HD-800's, and Oppo HA-1 (which I also sold later in the year), the Bob Latino ST-120, Airmotiv 3B, A-100 and a Schiit Saga preamp. So I ain't saying anything about 2017.  |

I've bought a pair of Legacy Audio Whisper XD's to replace my Paradigm Studio 100v5. Look out on emporium for blow out price on the studios.

I have quite the list this year. First, it's time for a projector upgrade. I'm currently leaning toward the epson 5040ube. Once my current bulb runs out I'm making the purchase and it has a little over 2400 hrs on it.
I was very close to buying one of the closeout XMCs last year and only backed down when I added the taxes to the price, but I still need to upgrade my processor. If I upgrade my processor I will need to add 2 more channels of amplification.
My back yard needs a big upgrade. We like to entertain a lot and we have a small ugly patio space. I'm thinking about expanding it with some nice stamped concrete or pavers. I haven't really come up with a plan for it yet, but it definitely needs an upgrade. It would make a nice spring time project.
I'm also keeping an eye on the diesel cayenne scandal. They had to freeze their existing stock on them when the scandal broke and will be selling them as used if they can agree on a fix. Depending on the deals, that could be a great time to upgrade me ride.
As tight as I am, my 2018 list will probably look pretty similar to my 2017 list, but it's fun to dream. On a positive note my youngest will be starting kindergarten this year so that's an extra $350 or so a week in the bank account.

Upgrade the xmc-1 with the new hdmi board and the atmos / dts-x board. Also the matching center channel for my Tekton Design Brillaince towers.
