I like the nice clean look of the processor. I'm sure some will not like the lack of buttons but I dig it. I popped in to visit Emotiva at CES 2017 yesterday. They are occupying three suites in a row on the 30th floor of the Venetian hotel. One suite was showing their BasX lineup, the middle suite was for the Emersa lineup, and the last suite was their high end XMC lineup. I spoke with a friendly rep who explained the current status of the XMC (waiting for the new HDMI board, etc). Found this card about the new RMC-1. View AttachmentView Attachment |

I like the nice clean look of the processor. I'm sure some will not like the lack of buttons but I dig it. The knob replaces all the buttons...see the little blue arrows? It is like the rotary knob/selector switch in some cars. Mark |

I enjoyed this series of videos...someone else mentioned them a day or so ago and I went to watch them but didn't link them. The only issue is again the lighting (like last year). Well, that, and Big Dan needs his moustache/goatee back...he just doesn't look right without them (sorry Big Dan!)

The goat suffered a trimming malfunction and I didn't have time to grow it back properly before Jessica's wedding. Back from CES now and stopped shaving the day I returned home. I expect to be beautiful again soon!!  |

The BasX A5125 sounds like a great option to power my rears and heights once I upgrade to the XMC-2. I'll definitely keep an eye on it.
I was all set to buy an Epson 5040ube this week, but with the announcement of the new Optomo UHD60 and UHD65 I am going to have to hold off a couple more months. There's always something new around the corner:( |

Double blind listening tests have shown conclusively that a mustache/goatee helps control early mid sound reflections and acts as an sound absorber for any off note sound reflections.
