Feel the pain! I bought (2) Outlaw Ultra-X12 subs. I had to take work off that day cause of the delivery time of like a 5 hour window and someone had to sign for it. Of course they showed up at 4hrs and 59 mins into the window. So I'm at the front door watching them get both off the truck. The truck tailgate was a weird truck. Not like the ones we are used to seeing. The tailgate was like 4ft from the ground. As I'm watching they were in the back of the truck and I see the box coming out the back of the truck. They literally pushed it out the back and off the tailgate and let it crash to the ground 4ft high! I went running out there and yelled to them (What the F#*! are you doing?) Things got real quiet between me and the two guys. The next one they very carefully took down off the truck. Then the guy has the balls to ask me if I needed help carrying them into the house cause they are heavy. I just told him (NO THANK YOU YOUVE DONE QUITE ENOUGH!) I then signed and told him what a dick thing that was to do. I muscled them into the house and opened them. Good job to Outlaw for the excellent packaging. They were all good except for one amp trigger for auto on wasn't working. Got a new amp shipped to me and I replace it and sent back the first one. What are you gonna do? I tried calling to complain and just get the run around and waiting on the phone only to get no where with it.

So, I received my T-2's today, after a failed attempt yesterday, due to needing a signature, and to my disappointment the outside boxes looked horrible, with tears and one box half opened. I signed for the delivery & got them in the house, and now I am dreading opening the boxes.... Ugggggg,.... Emotiva, can you please stop using UPS ++++++ They do their best at really beating up the boxes. Please use FedEx Home delivery. I will update on the condition of the speakers once I get around to opening them up. I was in a hurry and did not open them while the driver was here, I had an emergency I had to tend to. I hope the inside boxes and the speakers themselves are intact. Not many alternatives, and most of us get the perils of the "last leg of the trip" being the shipping. Most upstanding outfits such as Emotiva do the best packaging possible, then work closely with their customers to complete the mission and warranty any transit damage. It sucks at times, but I've never had a good company divorce themselves from responsibility. Just with some companies, A completed shipment absent damage CAN take longer with some than with others, generally speaking. Bill

Shipping by UPS, or shipping by Trebuchet? It's why we over-package.

Airmotiv T2 speakers are packaged so good they will not be damaged. You would have to see the damage to the speakers right thru a open hole in boxes before there was damage. Then it would only be surface damage,
I got one T2 speaker one day and another the next day. There were gnarly crunches in the outer box on both. The speakers are in a inner box. Like all Emotiva gear it is double boxed. There is almost 20 lbs of packaging around those speakers. There are thick hard foam that surround each end and eight big blocks glued to cardboard the whole length of the speakers on both sides. You could take an axe to the boxes and not get thru.
Calm down.
