I am finally upgrading my 2.1 channel Emotiva system to 7.2 surround. Buying the C2 center channel, How long do I have to wait for my surrounds ( E2's )  ? |

Your best bet is to call and ask them. If they are very close, they may tell you.

I called last week and they said that the shipment is six weeks out.

I would not mind designing a B2 bookshelf speaker. In the past we have found that the larger bookshelf speakers in our previous lines didn't sell as well as the smaller ones, but I am hearing more people asking for a larger Airmotiv bookshelf (particularly since the Airmotiv 6S powered monitor sells well). I will keep the idea alive.

I will keep the idea alive. I think a 6 and an 8 would be a great idea! Not everybody wants the bulky look of a tower but a bookshelf can fit nicely. Plus it may be a bit easier to do bass management if you don't have a processor due to the natural roll off of some of the bookshelves. |

I think it would be fitting to make a B2 with a 6.5" driver that go a bit lower than the B1, being the T2s have larger drivers and go lower than the T1s.

I think it may be a bit longer. I'm very anxious to get a sub back into my system after having the XMC-1. My old sub has an issue with the switch - it's not working. |

Thanks, Mark. I was told when I bought it that they were like 6 wks out, so I was hoping for some more definitive news by now. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Hoping it's not truly end of the year.

As I recall, someone had thrown out a 6 weeks comment, but as they got digging into production vs. shipping when directly asked they said what I quoted. If I combine the comments and try to read the tea leaves, I'd say production starts in a couple weeks, then they get shipped. If assembled in China (not sure on that), that would put arrival at mid-to late November. Let us know what you hear when you call. Mark |
