According to the latest podcast, the E2ās are shipping Oct 25. Just FYI. Dan mentioned the fact that theyāre ceiling mountable too. Wish I had more info on that. I read through the manual and didnāt see anything.

Just got a tracking number for my E2's. Should be here tomorrow. I've been resisting the urge to say "E2, Brute!?" - but alas, I could not longer resist. Too bad your name isn't Brutus. Meanwhile, enjoy a Caesar salad for lunch today! You need energy to get them properly set up and reviewed. Mark

Got the E2s mounted and working but I still have to run Dirac before any serious listening. But the cool thing is that they fit onto my old ERD-1 wall brackets. Kudos to Emotiva for making the upgrade as easy as pie.

Ran Dirac with the E2s and Dirac clearly shows an uncorrected response with an extended and smoother high end and considerably lower response at the bottom end as compared to my ERD-1s. The ERDs are pretty much done around 80Hz while the E2s are still strong at 60Hz. Another improvement is in the imaging between either front speaker and it's corresponding rear speaker. It's much more precise and localizable. That is something I wasn't expecting and would have to say its a result of the AMT tweeters. I think these are going to be a big hit for Emotiva.

And the fact they can mount onto the ERD brackets is a big plus for someone that already has some ERDs mounted on their wall(s).

I have been running my E2s for a few days now. Sound great, wall mounts are slick and lay tight to the wall. The detail on the AMT is really good and I agree on the previous comment around lower frequency capability. These put out a nice full sound for rear surrounds. Very happy with how they fill in the room.

Iām in the market for a surround upgrade. Have some bipolar now but selling. Wondering how these E2s with ribbon tweeters will blend with my non ribbon tweeter other speakers?

I was thinking about these for my front two speakers next to a small 32" tv in an office/den. I would mate them with a sub for a 2.1 setup. Would they suffice for fronts? I really like the fact that they can mount on the wall with their slim line design.
