Thank you for the link. I worded my question poorly. I have the firmware, I just wanted to know if anyone has tried it yet. My MC-700 is working with no quirks right now...I don't want to introduce any problems just for the sake of updating. Thanx.

Half way down this page some of the 2.9.2 feedback starts: emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/49871/mc-700-issue-list?page=16There's another thread somewhere where someone mentioned 2.9.2 didn't fix the PS4 problem it was supposed to fix, but I can't find that thread. I've been using 2.9.2 and can't say I've noticed any difference between it and 2.9.0.

2.9.2 also didn't fix AppleTV 4. It still produces a rather nasty/loud buzz upon Sound format change from PCM2/48 to DD5.1 just a word of caution.

I have the same problem, but with an Xbox 360, PS3/PS4, and also my Dish Network DVR. From what I have gathered from discussions with tech support, this problem is not able to be fixed. I switched my Dish DVR to optical just to stop the sound during every format switch when watching shows. The issue is with the HDMI switch used in the MC700.

Have same bug in My Satbox when switch Channels i can get this. Reported in it and they recommended to switch to digital but already use it to other components. They worked on a fix and was shure a fix Would come but not when.

Waiting for the office release of 2.9.2 firmware. I have the beta on a flash drive ready to go but have been waiting to see the office release. Looks like they put the MC700 on back burner already.

I think they got in alot of error reports to fix and they are not confident to release the update before it is fixed. I Also think the RMC-1 Got prio 1, but i also hope it can come sooner then later :-)

That link above to the download doesn't work for me, is it working for anyone else? I used it before, but just now i get error 404 on the firmware download. So best to report it in and ask if the steady 2.9.2 firmware are on the way instead of the beta version

That link above to the download doesn't work for me, is it working for anyone else? Link is probably expired as it was posted over 4 months ago. Still waiting for official release of new firmware.

Any word on when we should expect the next official firmware build? It's been a really long time since the beta.

I was waiting for the official release as well. Down loaded the beta recently on the same zip I used to update the Mc 700 before. This time no luck. The unit would not update. I tried several times. It just should not be this hard. A bit disappointed.

The usb format is correct. I used the exact same device to upgrade the MC 700 once before. The firmware is definitely on the usb stick but the MC 700 will not take the update.
