Emotiva gave me a direct link to v2.9.3, I don't know for sure if that's the one on the website so I suggest you contact them direct for it, they're very responsive. After discussing with Emotiva I just updated to it from 2.9.0 without resetting before or after and don't seem to have had any issues. Now both my MC-700s are running the same and I can figure out whether the update has fixed any of those MC-700 HDMI/4K "quirks"...

I recently got a MC-700 and ran into the PS4 pro issue. Upgrading firmware to 2.9.3 resolved that issue, but then I ended up with my HDMI 1 output dropping video intermittently on 4K signals. I’ve checked all cables and reset my settings and it still persists. My only resolution was use the HDMI 2 output instead, but I lost doubly vision pass through support.
In addition, HDMI CEC stopped working correctly and every time I tried to interact with a device it would switch the inputs on my tv around. I had to turn off CEC entirely ok for TV.
In summary, don’t use 2.9.3 if you are using CEC or need Dolby vision pass through.

Follow-up with system details.
TV: LG OLED65B(7) Emotiva MC-700 & A-300 Apple TV 4K PS4 Pro
I tried updating the TV firmware and for a few minutes it looked like it was fine, but then it began blanking out again. The PS4 Pro also has the same issue, but it only crops up at 4K.
It doesn’t matter which LG tv input I use, the result is the same. The only way to use it is outputting from the Emotiva HDMI2, not one, which keeps me from using Dolby vision pass through.

Nice to hear about a new firmware 2.9.3 to MC700. Hope they release it to Customers officially. Just downloaded firmware from Emotiva website for the MC-700 product page. It does not say what version it is, but it is named "MC_700Release-2.bin" and stamped "May 21, 2018 8:30am", size 719 KB. The previous firmware is named "MC_700Release.bin" and stamped "Feb 5, 2018 10:37 am", size 719 KB. If there are no known issues with this firmware, I'd like to install it, but in general I don't like to upgrade firmware without release notes. Can anyone else confirm? Just downloaded the firmware from their website: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2572/6926/files/MC_700Release_firmware.zip?10413430292858360373Had no problems installing. Went from 2.9.2 to 2.9.3. Will report back later when I have tested some more.

Wish Emo would do an official firmware update with release notes. Im still on 2.9.0 As Ive said before it sure feels like Emo put the MC-700 on the back burner.

Will report back later when I have tested some more. So this is the firmware available at the bottom of the MC-700 page (dated around May 2018)? Is there any known issues with 2.9.3 yet? Please let me know, as I will more than likely update at the end of August in preparation for September NetFlix binge/Catch-up time ;O)

Might be due to the way I use the MC-700, I don't know. But all issues I had with the 2.9.1 and 2.9.2 firmware are gone.
