You're right, to some extent, but throwing money at a poor room or trying to make a poor combination good might not be the best way to go.
I am a critic of the way some persons go about Not building a system. I've always tried to be 'forward compatible' until a path forward closes out, like with 'regular' stereo. These days, for example only, a path forward might include a DAC section, iPod input, Sub Outs and Bass Management in addition to all the regular stuff a stereo might include. Computer based audio might end up rendering CD / SACD and DVD Audio obsolete, as well as DVD / Blue Ray media which can be accessed online and streamed. The 'ownership' of media model might be over, except perhaps for Vinyl.

Appreciate all of your guy's suggestions and ideas, think i'm worse off now LOL, seems like its 3 possibilities, room treatment, speakers or Amp, Or yes all of them. well I don't want to make a hasty decision
so I'll just step back and maybe do some more research. One step at a time just have to figure out next step. Thanks again

Good. No hasty decision. Think about not trying to fix whatever you might think is wrong simply by More amp and More speaker. Though one or both of those might be part of the solution. Set your priorities. Arrange your space. Try to find a store where they'll HELP and not simply SELL. Go listen to some systems. Any like-minded people near you? My town has an Audio Society of sorts and a very helpful bunch they are. I've heard some very good systems in real peoples homes as well as some factory demo's set up in the same places.
