They want me to have my unit sent In for Non-Warranty Repair..and charges a lot. I mean, hi-speed ultra quiet 2-Pin fans are about $13.00 (2-Pack) - I just needed to know if it will address/fix that noise problem..Also, I tried asking the model of the OEM fans installed on BasX300 and they won't disclose it.. If they still can be repaired By Emotiva I don’t think that they will disclose schematics. Low cost amps are not worth the repair. I will try to find a local tech that can diagnose and fix it for a reasonable price.

Interesting topic. I have similar experience with the fan constantly running on my BasX A500 even when it is nothing doing at all and the temperature is pretty cool. My Marantz SR7015 produces way more heat and makes no noise at all. The almost constantly turning fans are definitely to loud and not acceptable. Is there a way to configure the temperature when the fans should start? May a pin on the board or through a software update? Thx for any helpful comment...
