After receiving email notices of purchase, I couldn't find estimated ship/delivery dates included in the communication, so I called Emotiva. It appears that my XMC-1 most likely won't be shipped until next week. I got to admit, I'm a bit annoyed that they would charge my card so early before actually shipping the unit. But that's okay, I just can't wait to get it end start tinkering with Dirac.

I think ship dates apply to when you were added to the list. |

I installed the V3 board and some observations: - Handshaking seems slower 5 seconds or more
- 1080p sources work well
- Menus nagivation seems slower, 2-3 seconds before responding
- HDR works well
- Dolby Vision does not work from the ATV4K nor from the Oppo UDP-205. The source reports DV, but the XMC-1 reports SDR as does the LG C7 OLED.

My standoff’s where slightly off. I loosened them a hair and put a little tension on them bingo bango.

I had the same problem. Used about 5 inches of speaker wire and hooked it around the standoff, put a little pressure on and dragged it into position.

. This has been reported to Emotiva. - Rich I hope they get the handshake issues addressed. I currently deal with handshake issues on my UMC 1. My system is pretty straightforward. Panasonic Blu-ray player JVC projector and DirecTV satellite receiver. |

I'm just wondering. If they don't ship my xmc-1 for say another week or two. Since they've already charged my card, is this going to be considered part of my 30-day trial?
Anyone have experience or thoughts on this subject?

If it delayed a few more weeks and they didn't ship would your trial period be over before you got the item, and then would you be unable to return something you had not yet received?
Common sense says no, and no, and the law would agree.
