+1 audiogeek Am looking forward to getting 2 of the 12 inch subs to complement my T1s in the winter place. Your comments on ease of setup are important to me. Hoping that 2 will preserve the accurate soundstage for orchestral music that I prefer with full range loudspeakers. My experience is that one honest review from an owner is worth any number of "professional" reviews. Thanks! I think 2 would really impress. |

So what made you think this thread was off track? Only that this thread is about the availability of the new Airmotiv subs and we were spending more time talking about Monoprice.  right....because comparing/contrasting "similar" subs from different companies is "off track"... |

I'm looking at subs now for my 2-channel system.
Down to SVS, Rythmik, a DIY from Madisound & maybe the Emotiva passive radiator subs.
Passive radiators offer an excellent solution to the low extension of ported subs, the responsiveness of sealed & moving equivalent air with smaller drivers.
There are compelling aspects of all of the above options

Well it took awhile before I had the house to myself to run Dirac, and I’m still impressed with this sub! It’s so damn accurate and smooth, never bloating or loose sounding. It also doesn’t seem to run out of gas. I’m surprised there’s not more people trying these out. Maybe they are but aren’t posting...
Great job Emotiva team!
