Need more info. Iβm more than a little interested in these. How do they compare to the sa250 in terms of snr and thd. Since they are part of the stealth line and all.

I think that these are Bang Olufsen ICEpower-based, right?

I think that these are Bang Olufsen ICEpower-based, right? Casey Dan claimed to have built these in-house.

The amps for the S12 and S15 are now Class D (previously AB) and they were designed in house if I heard correctly in the Podcast.
Cheers Gary

I wonder if they did use the ICE amps as originally announced or if that changed since the Emersa line seems to have died?

Boy am I disappointed...the S12 and S15 will be class D? Am not fond of this type and find it thin (and yes, know it is used for bass amps). Better get the web pages updated as the current ones praise the A/B amplification for the subs.

Better get the web pages updated as the current ones praise the A/B amplification for the subs. How strange. Right now it looks like something unusual is happening or some typos. "A powerful 500 watt RMS audiophile quality Class D amplifier, utilizing the latest ultra-fast cool-running MOSFET technology, and a linear power supply with toroidal power transformer, provides the Airmotiv S12 with plenty of power to fully energize your room with clean low distortion bass." emotiva.com/collections/subwoofers/products/airmotiv-s12So what does that mean?

Pa-1 and sa-250 not even close in comparison Please Elaborate Comparing the PA-1 to the SA-250 is like comparing an XPA-2 gen 2 to a PA-1. So he's right that it's not the same thing. Imo this would be fantastic for a space saving living room/office setup which is also cost effective. If they can actually manage to do the sound well that is.

Considering the A-300 is only $399 and you get two channels I would stick with that. Plus in my (limited) experience Class D sounds subpar, I have dedicated them to solely run subs. Too bad they don't make a bridgeable A-300, or an affordable Class A/B monoblock with higher power than the A-100. To me that would be perfect!
