Now this is what I call jazz. I played piano in my high school jazz band for 3 years and this was one of my favorites.

Sunday morning jazz brunch. Specifics like the brunch menu still workin' on. But have decided on some Oscar Peterson, & Red Garland to start with and then likely moving onto ?

Here's one of my favorites.
I also like Acoustic Alchemy's earlier stuff. And who doesn't like Diana Krall? Live in Paris, good stuff IMO.

This album, 'Tom Cat', got me into Jazz Fusion. I always use this song for listening to speakers I've restored.

I love Jazz. I love Jazz so much I was playing a Jazz styled rendition in my high school band and I made sure I was in key and in tempo. My band director gave me detention for being so cheeky and later after school said I was pretty good, but don't it again. So yeah, Jazz is amazing. It goes back forever.
Here is thought. When the classical music age was going on, Mozart was the Jazz of their age. He wasn't like most of them. Hmmmm.π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€

Hmmmm.π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€ I'm a new listener to Jazz and really love the music.. especially the bop and hard bop styles. I continously listen to different styles too. These misicians are so incredibly talented. I would love to have a jazz aficianado sitting with me as I listen to this stuff.. there's so much going on in jazz, I'd ask a million questions. Last spring I saw a jazz quartet of ULL students playing and I was justice amazed at the instruments in person. I just loved it. Ive never been like this with any type of music. I'm 56 now, and wish I'd have gotten into jazz years ago- I feel like there's so much to catch up on, it is almost overwhelming.
