I am optimistic that things are going to proceed rapidly for a while, you know, to catch up after having been shut down for so long. I get the feeling that The E Team is itching to produce. It really would be uplifting though to hear something official about the Trade-In Program simply since it has been so long.

Just received notice that everything is ok with my traded in XMC-1 and my XMC-2 will ship today. Tracking not active yet, at 5pm Central time which is not too far of from now I think it goes active. Looking forward to having audio again  |

Looking forward to having audio again How the hell is your unit on the way when my unit has been sitting there since 5/15 waiting? Im a patient kinda guy, but seeing people now with units that were delivered on the same day, and now AFTER my day just pissed me off. Friday will be a month! |

I am not sure about that, mine was received 2 weeks ago today. You might want to give them a call and enquire perhaps. /edit One thing though, hasn't been a shipping notice in a while so it would seem there is a batch ready to go again. |

So, I shoot an email off and within 15 min my unit was inspected, XMC2 built and got a tracking number. We all know that this is not possible and problematic in nature. No professional company at this level should need to be baby sat to get their products with out intervention.
Let speculate? Intentionally delaying shipping units to passive people for reasons such as......
Delaying the refunding of funds due on trade in with 1.4 boards?
Pacifying squeaky wheel people?? which I find repulsive as a business owner.
what else have I missed? Dirac? That wont be for months at best...

It's also never happened with me to get an email reply from Emotiva in that short a time. When I've sent emails in the morning it's always been late that day or longer to get a response. My guess, it's coincidence. Yours popped at that moment. I'm glad a bunch of you guys are finally getting your units. Seems like a lot is getting pushed out recently. |

Well, good to hear the issue is resolved and it's being sent. I was not a squeaky wheel though, had no contact with Emotiva after they emailed me 2 weeks ago that unit was received and they would send me the XMC-2 after inspection of the traded in unit was complete. I don't know how they allocate units, I do remember when I was accepted as a trade in it was mentioned I was in the around June 1 batch, and it is now 11 days later. |

Well the good news is my new XMC-2 is already in Melbourne! 3 weeks to go from Aus to US, 2 days to come back. Interesting.
Import duty was $270 so I’m still in front even after having paid for this when the AUD was awful compared to the USD.
So far its cost me AUD $1,700 + $254 to ship the XMC-1 + $270 import duty = $2,224 + my old XMC-1.
Local price for a brand new XMC-2 is between $4,800 and $5,600 retail say $5k so even if I only got $1500 for my old xmc-1 that's a total cost of $3,500 + my old XMC-1.
So I’m in front by around AUD$1,300 and I didn’t have the hassle of getting rid of my old XMC-1. Not a bad deal I reckon!
Lets just hope it was worth it!

Called and got an email back saying sorry, we are slammed with orders.... we will see if calling will speed up my order, if not  They have had it since may 29th |
