I have sent a few emails to sales with no response yet asking if the XMC-1 trade up to RMC-1L is valid with the Fathers Day special of 25% off an XPA amplifier wheee, if true, would also buy the XPA-DR3
What is the typical response time from sales on an emailed question?

"Father’s Day 2020 promo terms and conditions: Buy an RMC-1, RMC-1L, or XMC-2, and take 25% off an X series amplifier! Promotion ends 6/22, or while supplies last. Deal cannot be combined with other discounts. Trade-ins, upgrades, promotional credit, and Factory Renewed are excluded. They told me the same on the phone. It’s ok, I still finally pulled the trigger on upgrading my XMC-1 to an RMC-1L anyway. Excited for this upgrade

My XMC-1 arrived at Emo on 6/9. I 'chatted' with them on 6/10 to get an idea of what the turn-around time would be and received this response: "Thanks for contacting us. You'll receive an order once your unit is processed. It should take 5-7 business days to process the unit. It's three day shipping to Colorado."
Your experience isn't giving me much hope.
Just called Emo and was told it '' your RMC-1L should be shipped today, tomorrow at the latest'. I'll believe it when I get the shipping verification from UPS.
I actually feel sorry for the CS reps having to put up with 'where is my order? calls all day long.

Any recent idea of timeframes after the trade up is paid and you get the sale confirmation email? If I understand correctly, you are supposed to get a shipping label to return your XMC-1(not sure how long it takes to receive that return label).
Once they get your XMC-1 and inspect it, (not sure of current timeframe for inspection to occur)
Then, your new unit is shipped and if you have the HDMI board upgrade, some refund applied.
From order to receiving new unit is typically taking how long?

Today makes it 3 weeks in their possession If the hold up waiting on parts that is complete BS, then you shouldn't have opened up that many orders... wonder how many weeks this is going to actually take. |

I totally understand your frustration and I guess, especially at this time, patience is a virtue. I do believe the part shortage has been resolved and (according to the product page) XMC-2s are now rolling off of the production line. However, there is this notation that only appears on the XMC-2 product page... " * There is an extra 3-7 days for shipping and processing since the XMC-2 is currently coming off our production line in our TN production facility. We're taking extra safety precautions for our production crew, as well as shipping and handling at this time for COVID-19." Hopefully your wait won't be much longer... |
