So is this a bluetooth thing? Is it lossless?

"Proprietary wireless technology."

Wow, you snuck that in, tell us more! What frequency does this run on?

"Proprietary wireless technology." Yeah I read that too. Is it proprietary lossless? Proprietary Bluetooth? Does it use a wifi network like the Axiom Air?

Yeah - but carrying the frequencies needed for Subwoofers (as long as the Sub / Amp combination is CAPABLE of faithfully reproducing them) should not cause modern electronics to even "break a sweat"
An educated guess would be: -A-->D then RF Modulated / Encoded at one end -Then De-Modulated / de-coded & D--->A at the other end
As long as it works reliably and is not easily interfered with, what difference does it really make?

I think it's great. This would solve a few problems for me especially if I went with four subwoofers. I assue it works with more than one subwoofer (like if I bought 4 units?)

If you run all 4 mono you would need a transmitter and 4 receivers; unless you have a subs that would allow you to daisy chain them... but that would defeat the purpose of going wireless. If you have stereo outs then you would need 2 transmitters and 4 receivers.

Wireless interconnects have been around for a long time, by the way, with Klipsch, SVS, even Monoprice offering them. I have one for 1080p video that works well. I don't know if the others can support 4 receivers at the same time, but the idea is not new (although this execution may be.)

By four receivers I mean four completely separate units. I just want to know if they won't interfere with each other. Not a single unit that transits to four receivers.

The specs state that a single transmitter will support up to four receivers, but unless it is burried in the owner's manual which I have not read there is nothing about using multiple transmitters.

Latency might be an issue with multiple transmitters, as well as wireless interference or cross talk.

Oh that's interesting. I didn't realize. I would want to do stereo. So for four I would need two transmitters - one per channel. I could have each channel - one in the front and back side corners

The Ovewrview in the product page mentions using multiple transmitters. The VSUB-1 system has a range of about fifty feet and, because each receiver is uniquely paired to a specific transmitter, you can use two transmitters if you have stereo subs. Once you pair each receiver with its transmitter, no other configuration is required, and your subwoofer acts as if it is simply connected to your processor or AVR with a cable."
