Not really a Purchase - more of an Adoption (but we're not sure who adopted who, and she is actually a "Foster Failure") [Wifey and I volunteer with a local Basset Hound Rescue group] This is our new girl, Sophie:

I miss having a buddy around the house but with 4 kids... We'll have one again soon I'm sure.
Used to have greyhounds from a local rescuer. They are a really nice breed, and many good with kids, but are huge couch potatoes. Scott

I think Sophie just moved to the top of the food chain in your home! 😏 Not really the top of the FOOD chain, but DEFINITELY the Top of the "snuggly" chain Original plan was to foster her for a while then adopt her out to a good home, but she just grew on us too much to give her up. [Plus, she gets along well with our 12-13 year old "junkyard dog" Scrappy - he's some sort of beagle mix and he's getting up-there in years...] She's a very "Bassetty" Basset Hound Girl - only 4 years old (out of "puppy mode", but still young enough to be trainable / correctable) - Big, heavy ears
- Short legs with heavy paws
- "Low Rider" - tummy nearly drags the ground
- Classic Tri-Color markings
Scott - If you like Greyhounds but would like a bit smaller version = Ever spend time with a Whippet? Someone at the Assisted Living place where my FIL used to be brought one over almost every weekend - GREAT happy / playful hound! It was really cool to watch her chase a ball in the courtyard - tossed with one of those hurling-sticks.

Picked these up this morning. My second set of AR9's. These are all original (except woofer surrounds and upper range caps) and a solid 9 out of 10 - or better. I'll be selling my first pair once restoration is completed.

Being able to create and edit are no longer concerns. My new Ryzen based computer with RTX2070 graphics and 16gigs going to 32 later. 240gb SSD and 2TB HDD. Up to me now. The UPS to keep things less shocking. Sorry about the small images. Busy putting it all together now.

Okay need a desk. Got the studio On Stage Ws7500 in black for my work with the new computer. I bought the Serta I5000 I Comfort chair to sit in. Totally modified my living room to accommodate my editing needs. The bedroom is the audio and podcast. The living room does the video including later 4K video editing. Still learning. But so far have been getting some good buys along the way. So I don't get caught screwed I picked up a Rigid drill driver and two battery kit and extensive bits for just about all I need.

I picked up some KEF LS50 Wireless for my work desktop. I'm really enjoying them. They might be a little overkill, but hey I will listen to them almost every day and they are working well for near field listening.

I bought this Marantz 5010 off of ebay for $200 plus shipping. I plan on trying it out to run my Zone 2/Zone 3 outdoor set up. I will run one set of speakers off of the main L/R channels and the Zone 2 off of the read surround channels. If it works well then I will not need my AV8802A for outside duty. It will also free up my A-300 amp which I may sell depending on how all of this works out.

A set of new Genalex Gold Lion 12ax7’s and 12at7 for my new C2600 preamp. Why McIntosh private labels JJ tubes in their gear I have no clue.
The new tubes sound much better than stock. Even new out of the box it’s a game changer. Very happy!

Analog is not too far away in my place. Though Vinyl is not here any more. I had always been in with tapes. The JVC KD-85 is a work in progress, and the newly acquired Teac X-7 is my foray back into reel to reel. Keeping it small and still Analog. Not the only way. Just mine. Many ways music gets played today. The exploration is the real fun.
