Must be installed by a licensed electrician by law. Can’t wait, this will save me so much work when the power goes out. Less expensive alternative to many other solutions.

IMO, you made a great choice with your two Emotiva S15 subs (open box special for $719 per sub), wow. I looked extensively at all the impressive specs for a super price!. Only a suggestion, if you have time and the change would not ruin your back and would fit (hard to tell from the photos). Try swapping the towers and the subs. Might not work at all but the towers are quite close to the side walls.

It wasn’t horrible, but it just bugged me.

Besides owning a few Emotiva processors, I've always gone with Yamaha receivers as a processor. I'm only running 5.1/2 so nothing complicated. After much research, debate and angst, I decided to try the Denon 3500H. We'll see how it performs.

FOCAL Aria 906 bookshelf speakers.
After 3 weeks of a lot of critical listening and evaluation, i am still shocked at what these speakers can do.
Went to the dealer with no budget or preconceived ideas. I needed a pair of bookshelves to pair up in my bedroom system where I listen to jazz classical and cDs almost every night.
The system consists of: Preamp - McIntosh C22 Commemorative Edition Amp - McIntosh MC275 Commemorative Edition Digital Source - Google Chromecast Audio into MarantzSA10 Speaker Cables - Audioquest Gibraltar All other cables Nordost Tyr 2
Being that the preamp and amp are tube they did not pair well with my Paradigm Studio 20v2. They were ok but lacked texture, space and separation between instruments and a sense of realism. Paradigms are now packed away in basement.
The three speakers I compared in making this purchase was B&W 802d3, McIntosh XR50 and the Focals costing 1/4 of the other two.
Blindly listening I enjoyed the McIntosh and the Focals as they were polar opposites the McIntosh being almost warm to a fault with a pleasant sparkle on top. The BW were too detailed on top for my preferences. The Focals just seemed like I was there in the venue with the artists. Fortunately my dealer did said demos on comparable Mcintosg Tube gear close to mine.
Once I got em home and setup before any break in they just sounded three dimensional and absolutely believable in how they reproduce music of all kinds. Except hard rock and heavy metal. Metal heads will not like these speakers, but any female vocals, jazz, classical and most classic rock I found to be stunning. Three dimensional soundstage front to back and left to right. And there is weight to the bass when the recording calls for it but it’s not a false sense of bloated low frequency that exaggerated what’s there. Timbres and textures are very detailed as if the performance is being played live in front of you.
These speakers I paid $1000 for brand new. MSRP is $1499. I expected to drop $4000+ and these guys earned my business. Can’t speak highly enough about this purchase.

Besides owning a few Emotiva processors, I've always gone with Yamaha receivers as a processor. I'm only running 5.1/2 so nothing complicated. After much research, debate and angst, I decided to try the Denon 3500H. We'll see how it performs. Curious, I’ve always been a Yamaha guy as well. Will be watching for a review. I have a 3020 which will pass 4K but no Atmos. Its the last Yamaha processor to have Burr-Brown DACs which I really really like!

Seemed to be much more dynamic and room filling than the Yamaha. Could have been the Audyssey settings. Made a couple of changes on levels but other than that, left everything alone. Bass was strong and there seemed to be better immersion with surrounds. Haven't done much else yet so no other comparisons.

I was able to order my T2+ speakers and a PT-100 preamplifier Friday morning. Thanks Glenn for the recommendations through your posting and online reviews, they made the choices pretty simple. I figured they would get here (20 miles North as the crow flies from the Emotiva home office) on Wednesday or Thursday. WRONG! They arrive today, the next day, not even 48 hours after I ordered them! Eat that Amazon! To say that I am surprised and excited would be an understatement. I have run my older Emotiva XRT 6.2s for quite some time, as a stereo pair, then part of a surround system with other Emotiva speakers from the same line, and now back to a stereo pair for years. It is exciting to upgrade, and a little amazing to get the speakers today.
Happy listening at the Monroe household tonight!

Needed a better viewfinder than the SL-2 Canon could give me but I loved all else. Plus I need an A and B camera for my workflow. The Canon 77D gives me what I want. 2nd dial, status indicator on top and all the 80D goodness without the bulk.
