Giving vinyl a try... to go along with the pile of Schiit, I just ordered a custom U-Turn with an Ortofon red cartridge. You got everything listed in your sig but the speakers. Everything looks like it would be just amazing Cause I'm still deciding on speakers... LOL

I finally figured out where I'm going with long tele lenses. I bought a used Nikon P900 from KEH.com for $359 shipped. By their rating system it's in E+ condition. If I know these guys correctly it'll look like new. They have a 180 day no hassle return policy should something go wrong. Every piece of gear I've bought from them has always been better than expected. Check them out if you're looking for used photography gear. They have great prices and fast shipping.
The P900 currently has the second longest tele lens available in a point n shoot camera @83x. The Nikon P1000 reaches out to 3000mm, 125x! I didn't think the extra $600 (used) would be worth it. The P900 has VR (vibration reduction) tech and built in AF-S focusing. Should be enough for me to capture the birds around here. It arrives on Wednesday. I'll post some shots once I get some good images. The way Nikon got such long reach out of this camera is the very small sensor, not good in low light conditions, but pretty decent in bright daylight, which is where I'll be using it. It is about the size of the average cell phone chip. I have the D3200 (nice and light) and the D7500 for the bulk of my picture taking.

Keep in mind low light will be very bad. Small sensor wants lots of light. Also as the lens zooms it closes aperture as well. But for long distance and shooting the Moon this is it! Nothing even comes close. The weight was something for me to frame. It is rather big, but it is 2000mm focal length too. Let us know what you think. This is a specialist camera and has a very specific and powerful use case.

It's been quite some time since I heard or shot such a small caliber gun. It sounds like a cap gun.

My Mom's late husband was a Green Beret / Special Forces guy named Bobby. He always said..."beware the man who only owns one pistol." Bobby had a .22 SIG Mosquito that would make you think twice

Just got and installed those beauties into my Audible Illusions preamp. "Bugle Boy" Amperex Holland ECC88 / 6DJ8 NOS tubes Results is quiet interesting It definitely improve bass output and give slightly more wight to musical instrument. But holography in the same time slightly reduced as well. Overall I like what I hear

Little baby .22 rounds. So many [5000 rounds]. When opening the box and then seeing another box which opened to multiple boxes and then opened to multiple boxes I just teared up over the cuteness of it all. Note: excuse the blurriness of my pictures my hands were shaking in excitement! Subsonic works great for clearing vermin from the yard. Quiet and I find it to be more accurate in my long barrel 22.

I need a steady leg to stand on for my Sony a7ii for video at my place mostly. Cayer BV30 Heavy Duty Video Tripod, 64 inches Professional Aluminum Tripod Leg with K3 Fluid Head, Mid-Level Spreader, Max Loading 13.2 LB, 360 Degree Fluid head. Not $500.00, not even $200.00! $134.00 smack dab where I want to be. Sony caged for other accessories and securing the HDMI line and not stressing the HDMI connector on the Sony.

These will show up Saturday for testing out the new speaker setup, both are ATMOS. Decided to try some old towers as wides. This weekend it'll be 9.2.4 (Wides, Tops) Already have this one but the soundtrack is fab.

It was clear that they rescanned the original film in 4K as opposed to just upconverted the old bluray versions. The atmos sound tracks are fine, nothing remarkable though.

I've been down this road before. The kid was an F'ing idiot. Never let kids touch anything legacy let alone cool. The Aiwa completely gone through by a tech is on its way to me. New everything. Head stack perfect. Pinch rollers same. Belts and Idler new! 3 heads, B and C Dolby. From the 80s. 359.00 USD shipped to my door a bargain in 3 heads this nice. The other consideration was the Technics M-280 but the head stack and pinch stations worried me. Looks like lots of work ahead on that one, though it will easily Rival this Aiwa F660 I just bought today, I just don't like the maintenance and other things under the hood need work for more money than the Aiwa I just bought.
