Giving vinyl a try... to go along with the pile of Schiit, I just ordered a custom U-Turn with an Ortofon red cartridge. Changed my mind... picked up a Rega P2 instead

Shimei- careful with the Remington 700. I'm a Remington fan but the ADL, BDL & their sub models had a major problem firing by themself. Remington denied the claims but was a fact. My hunting buddy has a BDL 30.06 and it went off as he started to unload it. Scared the s*** out of both of us. Hope they fixed it. His 700 went to the gunsmith the next Monday. I love Ruger Mauser M77 (top safety early 1980s 7mm Mag) My Winchester Model 70 .308 is a tack drive, most accurate centerfire I ever shot- with Hornady ballistic tip bullets, hand loads. I never liked Winchester before I bought it, CHEAP $175. Took down a deer @ over 350 yrs EXACTLY where I aimed- destroyed his shoulder bone.

I think it is 4-5 years old and 2 months after I got it, I got a recall notice from Remington. The trigger was re-worked and since I have had no issues with it. I worked it over very well to assure the safety was effective. Years ago (maybe 30)I was deer hunting with a Winchester Model 70 and while sitting in my deer stand, I went to pick the gun up off of my lap and it went off. The safety was ON! I had that guns safety latch re-machined by a gunsmith and it has been fine since. Treat EVERY gun as loaded and ready to fire regardless of the safety position.

Changed my mind... picked up a Rega P2 instead I think the Rega is a better buy than the U Turn. Quality seems better with the Rega. Though the following on the U Turn is quite respectable all told. Rega is in my top pick for my next turntable should the time come.

Enjoy! 🎶🎶🎶🎶

After watching and reading dozens of rave reviews and comparisons, I figured I would take the plunge and pick up a pair of Edifier S3000 PROs as a "casual listening" secondary system for the bedroom. I'll put 'em on top a a pair of unused Pangea DS400 stands I have kicking around.

Joining the 4K UHD crowd and more for less. Sony RX-10 ii coming. Fits my workflow perfectly right down to the same batteries it uses as my Sony a7ii.

Intelâ„¢ NUC 8 BXNUC8i5INHPA1 Intelâ„¢ Core i5-8265U 8th generation, 8GB LPDDR3, SSD M.2 256GB, Radeonâ„¢ 540X 2GB GDDR5 HDMI 2.0, in a tiny 4in X 4in heavy solid metal box, with external power supply laptop type avoiding any noise, as HTPC and music server with JRiver. It's amazing snappy fast and reliable open 24hr/7 and sounds wonderful via USB or HDMI. Couldn't be happier.

I paid around 2200.00 for my Onkyo Pr-RZ5100 Pre-Pro some three years ago. Instead of upgrading the Pre-Pro I went a different route. In order to stream High Resolution I added a BlueSound Node 2i: Information on the Node "streamer" : The NODE 2i wireless music streamer easily connects to any existing stereo system to unlock and discover a universe of audio streaming. The NODE 2i connects your audio gear to online streaming services, Internet radio and even your own digital music library. The NODE 2i brings high-res audio to any sound system.
Connect to any existing stereo amplifier, AV receiver, or powered audio system. Featuring digital and analog input/output options, headphone stereo mini jack, and subwoofer out. Simple setup directly inside the user-friendly BluOS Controller app. Access and stream Internet radio stations, cloud music services, and your own local music library to multiple Bluesound Players. Dual band Wi-Fi and support for 2-way Bluetooth aptX HD ensures music playback without interruption. Control music wirelessly with the intuitive BluOS Controller app. Control it with the optional Bluesound RC1 Remote Controller Connect Bluesound to your Amazon Echo with the skill in the Alexa app and use Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant to control Players around the home. AirPlay 2 lets you play music or podcasts from wireless stereo components throughout your house — all in sync. I also added a MiniDsp DDRC-88BM to integrate Dirac Live 3. I wrote my own little mini review here: www.disqus.social/2020/08/minidsp-ddrc-88a-with-bass-management.htmlAltogether the upgrades cost me around 1600.00 dollars. I think that's a deal compared to what a fully functional Pre-Pro would cost me. I was looking at the Anthem AVM60 which runs around 2800-3000 dollars.

Mispoke on the RX10. It is the 1080P version. Still some of the best full sensor scan and no pixel binning or line skipping, 1080P best you can get. Bested the GH3 Panasonic the beast of the camera in the day. Still will make a great go to camera where I need more reach and still 1080P video. Matching my a7ii perfectly, right down to the battery it uses.

What series are the 901"s? 150wpc for series 3 thru 6 is adequate. I have collection of fine AR speakers but everyone asks to hear my 901 ser2 and its "Oh my God, the bass......" My AR9 bass is deeper in tone.
