Like every morning since the last decade 24h/7d, my *bleep* tinnitus...  I've got tinnitus also. Mine started in 2013 and was coupled with lack of ear wax, my ears were really dry. It got really "loud" in 2014, then reduced a little till last year. Early last year it greatly reduced in volume level when I started producing ear wax again. For one day it totally went away right after having flown in an airplane. It's at a manageable level, but annoying. The volume goes down when my ears produce more wax. Since I was teenage, loud music, Walkman, discotheques, bars, Rock concerts, working in truck and industrial environments and machine shop, and it could be a side effect from blood hypertension medications, so it's probably an addition of all. |

When mine appeared it was coincidental with me getting better after having the flu. I had taken NyQuil with acetaminophen for days. I much later read about acetaminophen being associated with tinnitus. For me, it fits because my illness and that drug are all that was going on in my life at that time. I'm drug free otherwise and have no medical abnormalities, everything tests normal, except they can't explain why I'm crazy  . |

DYohn I'm gonna guess that like me, you were a fan of Peter Ivers' New Wave Theater on USA's Night Flight. Does the defense's case hold water? (My Cousin Vinny) A punk friend of mine from way back was the only one in our circle of friends that could talk about the show with me with enthusiasm, but his enthusiasm was even greater than mine. He was diehard till the end. My interest in the show was firstly, the New Wave music, and the raw nature of the show as presented by Peter and his "let's make it up as we go" sort of attitude. He made it fun!
