I gotta get this one out of my head. Taylor Swift: Shake It Off I would never admit to having listened to a Taylor Swift song. :D Couldn't avoid it. I was at a outdoor event last night with two stages, and the cover band was playing this one shortly before leaving. I don't claim to have control over what my brain wants to play in my dreams. I'll just shake it off! Odd part is that this one is probably the only one I could pick out as being one of her songs. |

Jim Croce: I’ll Have to Say I Love You in a Song For nearly 20 years, Ingrid Croce (Jim’s widow) had a restaurant (Croce’s) in the Gas Lamp area of San Diego. She’s quite an accomplished Chef herself and they had moved to San Diego shortly before his tragic death. We used to frequent the restaurant quite a bit and Ingrid was usually there on the weekends. Super nice lady and I had her sign several of her cookbooks. They had the best Scallops, yum. They eventually had an issue with their lease and moved to another part of San Diego. We went a few times but it didn’t have the same vibe as the previous location. Unfortunately it closed after a few years. She did remarry and her new actual married last name is “Rock.” Also, the name of one of her cookbooks is “Thyme In A Bottle”. Just a little bit of trivia, I’m a Jim Croce fan. |
