Longtime lover of my Stealth 8, which I will never part with, but I'm looking for a different sound. Zeos hit the nail on the head by calling these "absolutely correct". They are so clean, fast, fun, transparent, etc. I've enjoyed different DACs into them and am thinking about a Schiit Freya + to see what tubes can do. OR maybe I'm just searching for a different speaker and expecting the 8s to be everything.
I keep thinking that Klipsch has what I want, but every time I hear that horn tweeter I feel like it's going to melt my face off. Having said that, I haven't listened to many horn tweeters in person. I like warmth, transparency, but am sensitive to forward sounding highs (especially with age).
Has anyone stepped away from Emotiva speakers to find an enjoyable alternative? Has anyone tried another pair of speakers only to be disappointed in the end?

In the last 3 months I went from three T1 to the Chane 753 towers, I wasn't unhappy with the T1's as they are amazing speakers for the price I paid, the Chane 753 are more $$ and much bigger but I am loving them, they ahve a horn tweeter but use a titanium driver which is more in line with what the higher end klipsch use, I myself have heard the "Best Buy" model of Klipsch and was not at all impressed so I was hesitant on the Chane's but know very little about horns and what driver is actually mounted within them lol, I must say i am in love with these 753, I also have one 752 and will be adding another once the 700 series restocks to use a rears.
