Let me clarify, LPs are Long Play albums that are well recorded and are worthy of your money and spin time. Just because it may be a new pressing does not mean it’s worthy! I’ve come across many new & old pressings not worth the material they are recorded on. I’d like for us to display LPs that are indeed worth our hard earned cash and listening pleasure. I’d like to begin with Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse of Reason

Not sure of the rest.. but they will sound fantastic.

Not unfortunate! I have a remastered copy of “Sketches” given to me as a gift 🎁 (CD). I have to say LP is NOT the way to go with this one….mostly because of the “space” in the music, where scratches and the rest of it would be terribly distracting plus being able to stay seated for the entire performance. The second part of what I just said, was the driving force that pushed me away from records. I hate needing to jump out of my chair after a mere 15 / 20 minutes tops.

I’m talking about the specific album “Miles Davis Sketches Of Spain” and the DIFFERENCE (in this case) of experiencing it as a digital remaster (this is a 1959 Miles recording conducted by Gil Evans) as opposed to the record with the assumption the record has some wear to it. (or even without it) It’s roughly a 42 minute listening experience that is unparalleled if you can kick back for the entire performance, as opposed to having (of course) to flip it over. Not the end of the world, but rather disruptive IMHO, in this instance. You’ll need to forgive me (space) from a musician’s standpoint that could easily not be understood
