Really? In what way? The MTM configuration though the gallos use different technology and style. But that's kind of like saying the T3's remind me of Magnepans, because they both have speaker wire connectors, although the rest of it uses different technologies and styling.

Well it's been awhile since I saw a pic of the Gallos.

Unfortunately, yes - now and always... By the bye, does anyone know the -3dB point for the T3+ speakers' bass? If it rolls off at 40 Hz. like a wimpy bookshelf speaker, I'm not interested. The -3db point for the T2+ is 35Hz so I'm sure the T3+'s will be at least that. Indeed, the T3+ bass sounded deeper than my T2's when I heard them. I believe the specs are -3 @22hz, but Dan was not sure. However on the printout it show 22hz.

I believe the specs are -3 @22hz, but Dan was not sure. However on the printout it show 22hz. According to the specs on this page they go down to 28Hz -3dB HUGE diff between 28 and 22 Hz. Depending on room placement, you might still need a sub with a 28 rolloff. 22 Hz. works without a sub most anywhere.

I thought the T2 sounded fantastic, but I am used to taller towers. The t3 looks like the ticket!

T3+ pros & cons (in my system) -
Pros -
might be able to ditch the sub Would allow speaker stands to be sold Might have as good imaging as (at least some) bookshelf speakers Should easily fill (current) big room
Cons -
big & bulky may not be usable in future (smaller) rooms cost May still need the sub They’re black

It looks like it would be about the same size as my m80s or a little shorter.
