Long time emotiva lurker here .. had a NAD T778 die on me and was so annoyed (only 2 years old) I have sworn off the NAD and purchased a M1RL … finding it significantly better. Finding the M1RL is much more punchier in the low end. Really happy so far .. now I just need to figure out the significance of the asterix beside the volume number on the display!

If a user doesn't know if they have a problem, do they have a problem? How do they know they have a problem? My XMC-2 was working fine but since reading these posts that say it doesn't work, I must conclude I was using it in a way not intended. My XMC-2 is slow , thinks a lot when changing input but works ok
However does not like when any preamp is connected
