Well don't laugh, but I had Twister collecting dust for over 10 years (DVD), played it with Emo amps and new HSU RESEARCH MK2 sub, like ROCKED!!!!!!

Was it as bad as the white house down movie? Didn't see that one. But good action and effects. Not exactly Casablanca but entertaining nonetheless. |

Had my 14 year old son watch this with me a few weeks ago. At the end of the movie he said "wait, that's how it ends?" It was great to see a movie get a reaction to the plot, and then to talk about the movie, and not the sound or special effects. |

Had my 14 year old son watch this with me a few weeks ago. At the end of the movie he said "wait, that's how it ends?" It was great to see a movie get a reaction to the plot, and then to talk about the movie, and not the sound or special effects. Well these days Hitchcock could have done it much cheaper using CGI birds.  And if they did a remake now, there would be certain birds with evil, human-like intelligence who outsmarted the humans, plus throw in some spectacular car crashes, etc. And just think how Atmos would enhance a picture like that! |
