Hows that Global warming? Seen any Ice Burgs this Summer yet? Ah yes, I see you live in the tropics. Easy for you to joke about icebergs you young whippersnapper. We had an iceberg float into Puget Sound in July and went out in our boat to set off some fireworks.

Cathy nice to see you have your own forum I have a problem, not sure if any others internationally are having. When applying my preorder for the UMC-1 I never get a reply email to indicate any success of the entry. Also I have emailed you a few times and also not recieved any indication of my status - on or off the preorder list and which list I might be on. Is there meant to be a confirmation email saying which list and status of preorder request or is there no response what so ever to indicate anything - even to a direct email? Or maybe its a browser problem for Mac's? Can you please advise. Privately is fine too. Paul - Singapore

Nemesis and Mike, Thank you! Chuck (Carlos), Eu vou muito bem, obrigado. Espero que todos estejam bem por aí, também. ;D I'll read that review right now. ;D The XPA-2 will be 'pushing' (as we say here) a pair of KEFs XQ20s. In a near future I'll be upgrading them to the References 201/2. As I'll be waiting for the new Emotiva's preamp, I'll only use my Audio-GD Compass as the preamp for now. I'm also getting a new DAC, whitch is an Electrocompaniet ECD-1A. ;D I'll talk to you soon! Rodrigo

If you've not bought the DAC yet, Emotiva have one in development if you can wait.

Cathy, which cities in India have you shipped to? I'm curious since I'm originally from Bombay (now Mumbai), India.

Don't tell anyone but I stole it off the Internet. Mike Ronesia and I are joking around a little. We had record heat in the Seattle area this summer, 107 degrees. We don't have icebergs anywhere near Seattle where he also used to live (at least not yet). ;D

My boat comes in Friday with my new ERC-1 and UPA-2. Because of the holiday it will be next Tuesday before I see anything is my guess. The UMC will air ship next month I hope and then I'll be set for awhile... I hope... Maybe...

I know. What do you do? There's always someone in the family who is a complete nut. But he's family ... so we kinda gotta put up with him. Don't tell anyone but I stole it off the Internet. Yep, too hot in Perth for me Scott. Actually never been, only as far as Adelaide that way West. Most Aussies assume Tassie is wet and cold. We've just ahd 15 years of below average rainfall leaving water storages at 17% last summer. Thankfully good rainfall this winter as help things some what. Problem is undergrowth is now so out of control the bushfire season is looking nasty. Nice and comfortable 25 deg C today. Sold that Elektra yet to make way for the XPA-1's?
