Just received my shipment from Emotiva today. I placed the order on 12-03 and they shipped to LA where it got put on a boat and one month after placing the order it's here. I now have a ERC-1 and UPA-2 to add to my XPA-5. Now all I need is the Giant Monkey and I'll be good for a while... I hope.

Thats some pretty hot weather for tassi.. But would just be another hot summers day in perth.. Yep, too hot in Perth for me Scott. Actually never been, only as far as Adelaide that way West. Most Aussies assume Tassie is wet and cold. We've just ahd 15 years of below average rainfall leaving water storages at 17% last summer. Thankfully good rainfall this winter as help things some what. Problem is undergrowth is now so out of control the bushfire season is looking nasty. Nice and comfortable 25 deg C today. Sold that Elektra yet to make way for the XPA-1's? Yeah I gotta say I always thought tassie was always wet and cold. lol The Elektra hasnt sold yet. I've been gettin abit of interest laterly tho and hopefully taking it to someones house on the weekend for a demo.. I was all set to order 3 XPA-1's.. but with them out of stock I'm looking at a couple of other options.. So we'll have to see with that one. Should have a XPA-3, ERC-1 and USP-1 arriving next week or so, will give me a good chance to demo some emotiva gear before I decide what I want to power the front stage. The Usp-1 will only be tempory till I either get the XSP-1 when its out or another pre as I need to eventually go a full balanced setup.

Can't wait to crank it up! Yes I had. First impression for me is that my set is coming together now. But I also noticed that my previous amp was missing the power that my speakers needed. My DIY speakers love the power from the XPA-2.

Glad it's working out for you I plugged mine into the wall just now, just to be sure it works properly. All blue lights lit up nicely ;D Just wait till you've listened to it for a couple of days, it'll get better over time.

Mine has just arrived as well. My god she's heavy! Oooh, fancy new white packing. Is that less eco-friendly than the brown? I would think so if it needs to be bleached. ;-)

The shiney white box is inside a brown shipping box.

I still think you should move Dann to China so he can do all the international shipping strait from there.

Love the gear..........the internet is an amazing tool when it comes to researching and shopping for hi-fi equipment. It's a great story that Emotiva is getting so many worldwide orders. Best of luck to the company. This is not by accident. Excellent products, great value and top notch customer service is the key to it's success. Can't wait for my UMC-1.

Talk about a roundabout route that amp took. From China to Tennessee and then back to China.
