Interesting. Thanks for that info.
Just in case anyone misunderstands, note that this is not a poll to decide if he will do them or not, or one versus another, it's just to get numbers for each so SN has an idea of how many folks are interested, so we have numbers for each.

does this void the emo warranty in anyway?

Probably - although it may be that if you get it built by the Ninja on a fresh PCB or Ninja Master version, rather than soldering it up yourself, they might be able to do a deal on keeping the warranty.
To answer this we would need to hear from Emotiva. Obviously if you botch it up yourself and cause damage I would think the warranty would be gone.

Not much activity on this thread. Are the 43 voters actually willing to do this or are they just voting because there is a poll?
I think those who really want a crossover upgrade should post what they are planning to buy if this is going to work out.
I want an ERM-1/6.2 crossover upgrade for one pair.

The poll asked if we are interested in the upgrade. To me, interested means curious about the possibility, not a commitment to buy. To each their own....

I wasn't asking for commitment. More so, I wanted people to make their interest clear instead of voting because "oh, there is a poll!".
It won't workout if we just have a poll with people voting on it without any real interest.

It should be folks who have serious interest yes. If even 10% or 20% of the folks expressing interest place an order I think SN will be happy enough.
Once he has the schematics and is ready to roll, I can post details on how to place an order as part of the group buy and then lock the thread or whatever.
So there will not be a lot of activity until the schematics are with The Ninja and he says he can do it.

The Ninja should be getting the schematics in the next week or so.

The Ninja should be getting the schematics in the next week or so. Are you talking about the 6.2's or the 6.3's? I just ordered the 6.2 upgrade. Does this mean he is getting more info on the 6.2 and the existing upgrade he offers will be modified/improved? Also, for Dann/Emo Staff - any word or decision on how installing the Ninja upgrade will impact the warranty on the speakers?

6.3s and probably 8.3s and ERD-1s.
Ask him if he will do you the group discount even though you have ordered before the "order window" has been announced.

I'm keen to upgrade the crossovers in my ERM-6.2s.
Any idea when the group discount will be available?

Dan should have the schematics for the other speakers over to TN next week or the week after, so maybe by the end of the month.
This is just a guess, I don't want to see any threads with "where are my Ninja x-overs, they are 2 days late". ;-)
I will post here when I have news.

Not yet ... TSN is very responsive, so we will hear as soon as he has the schematics I imagine.
I think Dan, Lonnie and Co. maybe just a little busy and the crossovers are probably lower priority than UMC-1 firmware. ;-)

Then I looked at the thread title again and figured it out.

Update: TSN is still awaiting schematics from Emotiva. (comments in reply 33 still stand I suspect)

Updated: TSN has spoken with Dan and the schematics should be on the way either already or in the next few days.
More as I have it.

FYI: ERM-6.2 and ERM-1 share the same crossover. So the votes should be counted together. FYI, I asked Ninja about this and he said they do not use the same crossovers, so he needs the schematics for the ERM-1's.

But probably after he told you otherwise.
